Hi and welcome to my Boat AuctionThis is a project i started and made good headway with until i got distracted by another boat. Standard man thing, start one, then start another.. Finish neither.. Anyway, this is superb speed/fishing/cuddy boat. She has a cabin with berth's for two people. Two captains chairs and a rear sun bed. I have rubbed down the whole topside of the boat getting her ready for a fresh coat of TopCoat/Gelcoat - I find Topcoat easier (personally speaking) The whole interior has been stripped out, so that it can be rejigged for a more modern interior, i was going to use some IKEA inspiration and have a toilet/kitchen in there too, and use a posh wood effect laminate to make it feel modern. The helm position has again all been stripped and sanded, ready for new side panels, i was going to use Marine vinyl and padding rather than the white Gelcoat, again personally speaking i feel it would modernise the boat. There is no engine, when i bought the boat this was not fit for use, my plan was to fill the Alpha 1 Stern Drive hole and fit a Gill Bracket, Readily available and it would mean for £1500-£2000 a 80-120 HP Outboard could be installed, this would leave an extra 4-5 feet inside the back of the boat free for more seating, storage and a bigger sun deck. Included with the boat isAgainst them are approx values The trailer - £600 Large stainless fuel tank - £200 Stainless steel handrail - £300 cost me, its a perfect fitBimini Cover Stainless steel - £200 includes the covers Two captains chairs - £100 Loads of various items - Port holes (£30 each) - Deck fittings - Steering wheel and telefax helm controls (£50)Two bilge pumps, fuel filler and breather is all still fitted and intact. Overall this a lovely little project for someone, most of the real nasty work is done, getting the topside sanded and engine out was a pig of a job, but now she just needs putting back together, My estimates for getting her ready for this summer was, approx 10 days work, 5 weekends. Gill bracket and Engine - £2000Upholstery inside and outside - £600Marine Ply 12mm sheets x3 £120 - interior Marine Ply 18mm sheets x 2 - £100 - making the new sundeck Approx £100 worth of fibreglass (10KG of Resin) Topcoat marine white paint - 10KG - £20 And a contingency pot of £500 for new Navigation lights, VHF Radio, Marine stereo, some funky blue deck lights My thoughts where Approx £3500 for the refit (done to my spec) and lets say the boat makes £1000 at auction then for £4500.oo you will have a full refurbished 22ft boat on a trailer that would be worth £8000 every day of the week in June/July time. Any questions please don't hesitate to contact me on 07832 126333 The boat is sold with NO RESERVE A bit about this boat is that its made by Tremlett, they where a family owned business in Topsham - Devon, approx 15 miles from me, and where i used to live. Tremlett's are very popular boats they have a huge following in the UK and produced some of the best hulls ever designed. They where contracted to make many commercial boats after their hulls got recognised in the industry. They don't suffer from Rot like american boats, they used fibre glass throughout meaning no nasty rot to replace. If you google Tremlett 22 youl find plenty of information on this superb boat. You could if you wanted to reinstall a engine into this boat, It would take a Mercruiser V8 or V6 - with the Alpha Gen 1/2 stern drive. These are found for approx £2000 here on ebay, but for me i wanted to put a outboard on so i had more internal space / in the future i could upgrade to a bigger engine..
