I ended first listing because I've had over 50 questions asked by potential buyers via EBay and my personal email and I've not been able to answer them all yet and must work today and will answer all remaining questions tonight.  The reserve I set was not anywhere close to being met yet anyway and I want everyone to have a chance to have their questions answered. I apologize in advance for any confusion or impositions caused by starting the auction over. I'll be available online tonight after 7pm.  Thank you all for your interest in this boat.  I will have to add photos tonight but it's the same boat.SAMARA-1979  ENDEAVOUR  SLOOP-SPECIFICATIONS:LOA: 32’                LWL:  25’6”           DRAFT:  4’2”        BEAM:  10’            BRIDGE CLEARANCE:  43’BALLAST:  5,000                 DISPLACEMENT:  11,700        ENGINE:  YANMAR 20 H.P. DIESEL MODEL: 2QM20ELECTRONICS:  VHF Radio, Uniden Depth Sounder, Binnacle Compass, and Garmin GPS Map 172C Chart Plotter (blue Chart)DESCRIPTION:  SAMARA is a solid, well-made, sturdy, and roomy vessel..  For her size, she has much more room inside than other vessels 32’ and even some up to 35’.  She is perfect for weekend get aways, for long term cruising, or for living aboard.  Her hull is thick, hand laid fiberglass (no coring), and her decks are the same.  There are no blisters on the hull.  There are no soft spots on the decks.  There are also no compression problems at the mast, which is supported by a compression pole.  SAMARA is a blue water vessel and has proved her seaworthiness and reliability by sailing from Maine to the Bahamas, and through the Chesapeake Bay as well as the Florida Keys.  I would trust this vessel to take me anywhere.  She’s gotten me through several Gales, Nor’ Easters, and even Hurricane Sandy without any damage to the vessel the occupants.  SAMARA has been very well cared for and has undergone a complete refit.  All of her wiring and plumbing has been replaced, as well as many other parts.  I’ve got extensive maintainance records of upgrades and parts that have been replaced.  Her rigging was replaced about 5 years ago.  The mast was taken down, prepped, painted, and reinstalled less than 6 months ago.  The topsides have been repainted with Awlgrip/gelcoat, as applicable.  Rotella oil has been changed every 50 hours on the engine.  Her sail inventory includes a main sail less than 4 years old and 2 headsails-one is a storm jib.  She has roller furling for the head sail.  Her ground tackle is substantial and includes 2 oversize Danforth anchors with heavy chain.  In all my time sailing, I’ve not drug, even in 70mph straight line winds.  She’s had a bottom job every 2 years, prop shaft was just replaced 2 years ago and her prop was reconditioned.  She has been cared for religiously and meticulously and it shows.  Her cockpit cushion covers were re-done 3 years ago, her settee cushions were recovered 2 years, and the v–berth cushions were recovered 4 years ago.  All of her port lights have been replaced from the cheap plastic ones to stainless steel ones.  ALL LIGHTS (interior and exterior) have been changed to LED bulbs to minimize power consumption.  She has one designated starter battery and a house bank of 2 deep-cell, marine batteries that are charged by a large solar panel mounted on the rear rail.  She uses propane gas for the stove/oven and there is a locker for the canister in the cockpit.  SAMARA has a double filtration system for water and the water pump, and the filters, have been changed within the last 6 months.  She has newly installed stereo speakers in the cockpit and has Bose speakers inside with a newly installed receiver that’s blue tooth compatible and has a USB port as well, in addition to a 6 disc CD changer.  She has excellent sound quality and volume if you like to jam while you sail.  SAMARA has teak grates for the head so the shower drains via a pump and there is a hot water heater. There is also a sink in the head and a full-length mirror.  There are also teak grates for the floor of the cockpit, which is self bailing.  There is an Edison pedestal with a mounted compass.  There is a large amount of real teak inside (not veneer) and teak trim outside.  There are 2 mounted winches.  This vessel is ready to sail immediately.  Just provision and go!  SAMARA is a DOCUMENTED VESSEL, meaning that she does not have to be registered in any state and I just renewed her Certificate of Documentation this month (March 2017).  There are no repairs that need to be made prior to taking SAMARA anywhere you want to go.  She’s truly an amazing vessel and I truly hate selling her but I’ve recently purchased a 41’ vessel that needs a total refit and I simply cannot keep 2 vessels.  If it were not for this, I would not even be thinking of selling her. Because I need to get the refit completed on the other boat before spring, I’m willing to take a loss financially so that I may sell SAMARA more quickly and focus my efforts on getting the other boat ready.  SAMARA is currently in a slip at Coquina Yacht Club in Little River, SC (less than 5 miles from the NC border) and many items, such as sails and other removable items, are currently either being stored inside the boat or at my storage facility to prevent damage to them by weather or having anything stolen but will be placed back aboard the vessel when sold. For questions, please email me (Sherry) at:   or email me here on EBay.  You may also contact my x-husband, Mario, at (443)603-2303 or (443)481-7171. I’m currently staying in inland NC (about 4 hours from the vessel each way) and Mario is in Annapolis, MD.  So, serious inquiries only.I’ve posted some photos today when posting this listing but will be adding more photos tomorrow as well.  As you can see, SAMARA is in excellent condition and has been cared for exceptionally well.  Whoever is lucky enough to win this auction will win a gem of a vessel at an exceptionally low cost.  I’ve looked for a boat to buy before and have seen what’s out there, the costs, and how much work would have to be done to any vessel priced under $50K just to be able to sail the vessels.  The majority of vessels priced under $50K need anywhere from $10K to $15K worth of work just to be sea worthy, much less reliable.  Finding a vessel that’s “ready to go” and in the condition SAMARA is in is under $35-$50K is nearly impossible.  I wish everyone luck  The winner of the auction will be getting an amazing deal.
On Mar-09-17 at 09:23:29 PST, seller added the following information:Additional information:  Samara has a new prop shaft and new cutlass bearing.  She also has new motor mounts and a new transmission shift cable.  She has two Lewmar 40 self tailering winches.  The winches alone are worth approximately $1,500.00.  When the mast was taken down to paint it, a new, sealed, LED anchor light was installed.  The new stainless port lights are from New Found Metals.  I've got some extra parts aboard such as replacement fuel and water pumps, as well as filters for the water filtration system.  The sail inventory includes THREE, not two, head sails, as well as a main sail less than four years old. The main sail alone was $1,200.00.  Samara has been professionally maintained by an experienced marine technician as long as I've owned her and I have a multitude of service/part replacement & upgrade records.

I'm going through photos trying to find one of the engine and plan to post it once I find one.
