I'm selling a Fingal 27 sailboat. I've had this boat about a year and I've had a great time with her. She's had the usual preventative maintenance and go over when I bought her and a monthly go over since then. I don't claim this boat is anything but a fun time and a like most used boats, a project. From stern to bow you have a Jack-plate or Auxiliary motor mount, lockable rear storage dry hatch with solar fan mount. Moving forward is a spacious cockpit for four with inboard motor controls and navigation instruments, some work more than others. A vented companion way door with lock leads to the speed and comfort style interior complete with all berth and seat cushions. This Fingal has two rear berths, one long side seat facing the galley w/ sink and camp stove. Beyond that is the V-Berth for two with hatch to forward deck, chain locker access, and two hanging closets. This boat is simple and sweet. Not much to go wrong. Obviously with all this good it has some bad as well. For starters, the sails were stolen long before I bought this boat and using the inboard diesel or outboard I threw on it I never cared to buy new sails. On the topic of the Diesel, it was sold to me not running and after a bit of maintenance she started and runs sweet, the transmission is another issue. I was never able to engage a gear on the trans and never spent enough time looking at it to figure out why. Again, with a rear mounted engine I didn't mind. Could be nothing, could be something, I just don't know. That's her story so far. Boat is sold where is, as is. I'll assist in any manner I can to make it an easy transition.
