Our family have enjoyed "Sarah" for day sailing and fishing for the last ten years in Torbay and over those years have replaced many items, including the engine, and prop (2009), mainsail (2010), deck fittings including guardrails and mahogany rubbing strip, seacocks, water tank and batteries . A steady sailer, pointing up reasonably well behind her R/R genoa, she is a safe, dry boat with a large cockpit capable of seating eight people. The varnished table fits cockpit or cabin, which is well fitted with shelves and lockers. There are four berths, two singles and a large forepeak above the separate chemical toilet compartment. Fittings include a s/s Neptune 2500 two burner hob & grill , a coolbox and s/s sink with manual water pump. The boat has twin batteries, internal and external lighting, electric and manual bilge pumps, is wired for shore power (never used) and all lines come back to the cockpit via rope organiser and triple clutch for easy handling. The original brass compass, NASA depth sounder, Danforth type anchor and chain, fenders, ropes, etc complete the basic inventory. This winter I have repainted the interior and washed and scotchguarded the upholstery. There are two files of history with the boat including all the receipts for items and work done. I would be interested in a trade or part exchange for a small motorboat or launch suitable for a tidal river.
