For sale, Colecraft 50ft Narrowboat 'Liem'. Constructed in 2004 and finished in moss green with brass appointments. All steel construction, with a thickness of 10-6-4. Survey carried out in 2013 (available to view) confirms the hulls great condition. Blacked in January 2016, 8 anodes fitted and gunwales painted last August. BSC certificate until June 2018. Extra large rear hatch, glazed steel front doors and steel side hatch. 4 brass mushroom vents and brass coloured window surrounds for the 6 large, and one small window and two 8" rear portholes. A flexible 95 watt solar panel is fitted to the roof. Large gas locker with 2x 13kg calor gas bottles with regulators, and storage under both seats on the bow. Interior is ply lined in light oak, new laminate floor layed last year. Morso squirrel stove fitted, converted by lockgate to run on diesel. Very economical and clean, only uses a 1/3 litre an hour. It had a new pan fitted and regulator serviced by lockgate in January at a cost of £475. It has a backboiler that heats 2 gravity fed radiators, one by the bathroom and one in the bedroom. Stainless steel extendable refleks chimney. A stainless steel 130 gallon water tank is located under the bow with Jabsco water pump and accumulator. Solid wood kitchen worktop with stainless steel sink, thetford gas oven/grill and vanitee 4 hob top. There is space for, and seperate large core DC wiring and an isolator ready if you wanted to fit a 12v fridge. Bathroom with a thetford cassette toilet (comes with 2 cassettes), wash basin with under storage and tiled 2ft square shower unit with glass screen and side storage. The bedroom has a 4ft bed with 4 large drawers and a large storage space underneath. Double wardrobe with 2 shelves and plenty of storage. Hot water is supplied by a calorifier located in cupboard (great for keeping clothes warm) and is heated by the engine. The rear engine room houses the Beta Marine 35 engine. The engine is in fantastic condition, serviced every 6 months with only about 3500 hours use. Doesn't smoke and always starts first time. Mains electricity supplied by a Victron Multiplus 1600w inverter/charger. It has a shore line connection for battery charging at upto 70 amps and 240v pass through. Marine consumer unit fitted with a 6 amp MCB and an RCD. Engine has 2 alternators, one 45 amp for starter battery and a 70 amp for domestic batteries, and a Sterling intelligent charge controller. There is a 300 watt mppt controller for solar panel and fuse/switch board for 12v electrics. Three isolators, one for domestic 12v, one for fridge and one for engine. Three Banner 135ah leisure batteries for domestic and one 110ah battery for starter.
