The UH-16P has become the most popular model because it is larger enough to support a substantial payload while still maintaining excellent maneuverability. The long list of options and the attention to detail, like the carbon fiber accents from the dash to the duct and rudder supports, set this craft apart from the rest. The craft was originally built under the guidance of experts builders in Cordova IL. The craft was stripped down and completely restored in 2012. The craft was also modernized to feel like you are sitting in a luxury car. The large 54” prop, 6 blade lift fan, and automotive exhaust make this craft extremely quiet while maintaining excellent performance. Passengers can easily communicate with each while cruising. This craft took second place in the both the build quality and sound level competitions at the 2016 Hoverally. Since the rebuild it has always been stored indoors.  Cabin:The stereo has all the functions of a modern car. The Infinity speakers provide excellent sound quality that can be easily heard even at full speed and power. You can charge up to three devices at the same with the 12v aux or the dual USB chargers. The twist grip throttle is from a motorcycle style system and mounted to a stainless steel joystick. The friction lock holds the throttle in place and reduces fatigue on your hand during long cruises. The seats also have thick padding for those long cruises. They are covered in a textured marine rated vinyl so they look and feel great. Vinyl flooring inside the cabin provides a non-slip and cushioned surface that is easy to clean. The paint on the deck outside the cabin is also strategically textured to provide a non-slip surface.  Lighting: The LED lighting will make every obstacle detectable. It is custom designed and purpose built for the way a hovercraft moves. The latest in LED technology makes the lights bright enough light up the entire river while using only 25% of the amp draw of traditional lighting. The side lights are aimed 45 degrees out to give you a wider view of the river and so you can still see while turning. This is the first and only craft to have under hull lights that make the water under the hull and the mist from the lift air glow blue. It looks like you drove off in an alien space ship. The removable rear navigation light is another custom built part. Both the all-around white and flashing yellow lights are connected to the foldable pole with a 3D printed part. Engine: A new Kohler 25 HP engine was installed during the rebuild. The engine currently only has 77 hours. An automotive muffler was installed to significantly reduce engine noise. The headers, pipe and muffler are also wrapped with thick fiberglass tape to further damped noise and prevent burns from an accidental bumps. The push button start continues the automotive like experience.  Trailer:The trailer is included in the sale. It is very lightweight and tows very easy even behind a smaller SUV. The lights, wiring, axles and bearings were all replaced just a few years ago.  The deck is 5/8” green treated ply wood and it is held down with stainless screws. The deck tilts for easy loading and un-loading by one person on shore.  The gas spring assist allows the trailer to be tilted with very little effort. An adjustable locking arm ensures the deck stays lifted where you want it.  Specifications
