Welcome to an auction of a AVON EA-16(SEA RANGER) 4485.5 METER EX RNLI INSHORE RIBShe started life in 1993 at Sennen Cove and was withdrawn from service in 2004since then she has been owned and used in North DevonBeing in the service of the RNLI she has been extremely well maintained throughout her 11 years of service.About the boat :5.5 meter Avon she's in very reasonable conditionrecently cleaned with rib restorer and faded sections touched up with rib paint from Top Coat Marnie.decking section has been fully stripped down to bare and stained 3 times and varnished (yacht varnish)All stainless fittings have been cleaned. all valves have been checked and operate perfectly with no leaksshe does have the original decking matt which is a bit tatty was going to replace but haven't had time to source one. Centre console has plenty of room for rope, VHF, tools and anchor. Engine is a mariner 40 HP 2 stroke which is ample for this boat and will push her along with ease. it is the original engine which came with the boat and has been serviced regularly. Has spare part ( tool section) built onto side of outboard. Engine has recently had impellor changed and pushes water strong. Engine also has great compression. engine cowling recently been resprayed with new mariner decals supplied. engine can be viewed running with muffs. ive only been able to upload 12 pictures if you require any more or any info please contact me.The boat has no trailer. its currently on a launching trailer which illegal to use on a public road. Boat will need to be lifted and put into a van ( luton preferably ) I can arrange help with lifting if needed. This is advertised elsewhere so item may be removed without notice.
