Prout Snowgoose 37 Elite build 1991 in England known as a strong build reliable Catamaran. I am the 2d owner after the original owner who did order and buy it in England and than crossed the Atlantic to sail the Caribbean waters..Right now the Prout is on the hard in a Marina on Key Largo (costs $ 400,- a month/payed through April which is pretty economical for being at the Florida Keys) and can be viewed Mondays to Fridays from 10am to 3pm. The Prout is since 2 years on the hard. On our last trip the Sonic Type 2 drive gave up on us. The outleg needs to be repaired/replaced. I found a used one in Germany for about $ 1200,- like 4 months ago but because of lack of time I decided to offer the boat cheaper instead of taking care about it myself. For somebody that is handy, this boat can be a 80.000,- worth boat with just an investment of a couple of thousands.. easily!! I'm myself living in Cancun/Mexico working in real estate with lots of work and never ending lack of time.. The inside needs some cosmetic works, like the wooden frames on two windows reattached. 2 hrs work.. The wood inside was recently varnished. I would recommend buying a new fridge and stove and some carpentry needs to be done too. (A couple of hundred bucks all together maybe) Engine: Yanmar 3JH. The solar panels are still charging the gel batteries. The electric anchor winch still works. Anchors and chain in high Quality stainless steel in good condition. Sails in good condition. Perfect boat for somebody that has his own ideas and plans to install his individual equipment or even 2 outboards whats often people's choice nowadays with catamarans. See on google lots of cruiserforums and their discussions about it.. Priced for sale!
