Regretful sale but have major health issues so must sell. 32ft Timber Baycruiser, classic Halvorsen style design, would suit a handyman who has time to spare fixing up. The name of the boat is Louisa and it comes with some original Halvorsen parts.It is sitting at Urangan (Hervey Bay), priced to sell ...bargain for a 32ft vessel!If you have any questions please send me a message and we can go from there.I encourage you to inspect first if interested.The boat is currently sitting in my yard on timber cradles. Happy to provide the cradles to new owner.Successful bidder to arrange removal at own expense. Background information:The bottom of the boat was fibreglassed by the previous owner in 2010. Boat was in the water on the Gold Coast and bilge stayed dry. Boat includes a nissan diesel engine approx 55 hp, with heat exchange and marine gearbox. Both were running fine, but from sitting around the sump now has some corrosion eg rust pitting and fresh water from the bilge has entered the sump. I have purchased a replacement sump (included in sale) in good condition which has not yet been fitted. The engine is not seized and can be turned over by hand, also there is plenty of compression, this job will need to be fixed prior to using the boat. The rudder shaft has a small leak (eg a cup a day) and, will need to be undone and repacked prior to using the boat.There is a lot of timber work to be done both inside and out. There are boards to be replaced on the starboard side (see photos #2 and #12). I encourage you to inspect first if interested so you know what you are buying and there are no hidden surprises.Would suit a Halvorsen lover looking for a project.
