Safety packageComments: This HR 41 has sailed the high-latitude destinations of Atlantic Canada and Newfoundland. Built in Sweden, vessel has made two Atlantic crossings. In 2013, it had the distinction of being used for survey, inspection and insurance training for BOAT US underwriting of offshore yacht policies. This vessel showed them a well-seasoned offshore cruiser. Proven capable of comfortable long-range cruising and well-equipped for safe voyaging. This HR 41 is now for sale with many upgrades throughout. Vessel is documented and insured by Boat US 2017.

On Feb-24-17 at 07:57:51 PST, seller added the following information:You asked about known service issues:   1. The teak cockpit and teak steps into the cockpit are original and need to be updated to new owners preference. There are no teak decks.  Decks are gelcoat.2. The teak wheel and wood at the cockpit entrance needs Cetol-Varnish.  3. Vessel needs a haul and bottom paint. Thru hole inspection should be done at that time.  They're bronze. 4. Estimate for haul, power wash, 2 coats paint, launch approx. $2,500.00 (including ablative paint).
*********She is an HR 41 with a bow pulpit and davits for an overall length of approx. 53 feet. The windlass is oversized for a 60 foot yacht. Top lifeline was replaced with higher guage lifeline for extra safety at sea.  Working sails are heavy offshore sails. Approx. 11 bags of additional sails.  All mechanics are in good working order, engine hours are 4600 (note correction from ad) strong 78hp engine runs good.  House, engine, start and windlass batteries are new.  Full enclosure cockpit gets heat from Webasto furnace.   Cosmetics normal for a vessel of this age.Vessel will remain at Ortega Landing Marina 4234 Lakeside Drive in Jacksonville Florida 32210 until sold.  She is a great boat ready to head offshore right after #3 is done.   Thank you for all your inquiries.   George
