I purchase this Brookhouse iMux from another boater and have not installed it on my boat. The previous owner said it was working when he removed it from his boat before selling. His new boat came with one so he didn't need this one. I have decided to just keep my chartplotter for now and if and when it breaks I'll think about going wireless. It was used aboard a sailboat to repeat the instruments, GPS, and AIS systems over wifi. Works great with software such as iNavX on iOS turning your iphone or ipad into a full blown chartplotter with instrument connection.
