Great liveaboard located in Punta Gorda, FL, in the water until Feb. 21, then on trailer here. Boat condition is very good, Engine is pristine, see details below. Trailer is pristine with four new tires. For less than ten thousand dollars, this boat represents, in perpetuity, a bay-front pierside condo for the one-monthers who come down to Florida - or you can pay $7,000 each year for the equivalent in rentals. We are selling because our tenant just moved out, and we now have the home to live in.We purchased this as a liveaboard, bought it in CT, and trailered it down to Florida two years ago, and we lived on it for two months Jan and Feb 2016 and same in 2017. We are just wrapping up our time now. Great two person liveaboard, with forward V berth, aft double bed alcove (great for storage too), and with the included camper canvas shell and/or double bimini that covers the entire cockpit/seating area, a topside air bed berth. The top cockpit area is about 12 feet by 8 feet. The back bench seat was removed to make room for the topside dining table, chairs, and chaise there. This is a dry boat. We sealed everything when we purchased it. Non smoking owners, boat smells dry and sweet. The galley has a working electric stove (can use alcohol at sea, but never did), and a working refrigerator. The sink and pump work fine. It holds 24 gallons of fresh water. There is plenty of galley storage. The dinette seats four average sized people. The hot water is engine generated, or supplied by hot water from hose. The seat fabric was deep cleaned, and forward fabric and foam cushions were made by my wife in 2016. There is a ton of storage under the forward v-berth too. There is a full head with shower, sink, flushing port-a-potty, and disconnected machinator and holding tank. We painstakingly cleaned every inch of the interior of this boat, sealed and oiled the rich wood trim throughout the interior, and restored all interior items to as-new condition, except as described below. The curtains were replaced. The side shutters all work and are undamaged. All screens and glass top hatches are undamaged, and work. We decided to purchase this particular boat because the engine is absolutely pristine. It has about 800 hours on it, and we have had it professionally serviced since we purchased the boat. The engine starts quickly, runs smoothly, and the throttle and shift mechanisms work perfectly. The outdrive motor works perfectly, the outdrive raises, lowers, and trailer stores normally. Both trim tab motors, rams, and controls work perfectly. The boat has two marine batteries, one is fairly new and the other is one year old. There is a built in halon fire extinguishing system in the engine compartment, and extinguishers in the cabin.Once every two weeks while in Florida, we have shoved off and cruised over to Cayo Costa's primitive marina and tied up for a week, and cruised down to Cabbage Key and lived aboard there for four days. Cayo Costa was 12 dollars a night, for the same deal as if we had rented the whole island for a week. The slip fees for four days at Cabbage Key was less than one hundred dollars. So if you are looking for a very reasonably priced Florida experience, try this.We eventually found all the original owners manuals for the boat, engine, and all individual items and systems installed at the time of manufacture. Additionally, we have all manuals in PDF from downloads. The boat has a heavy standing canopy with windows, which was very expensive, per the prior owner ($3,500). That cover is absolutely in pristine condition too, except one small tear. It comes with a diagram, the frame, top canvas, left pilot window, right pilot window, right side window, left side window, and aft skirt need to be zipped together. The pilot windows unzip to the bottom of them. If you do not put up the aft skirt, then there is a second bimini frame we made that "squares up" the aft cockpit. You can throw a tarp and mosquito screen we made to seal up the back if you install the second bimini top - see the pics.Power is through the console, plus the shore panel in the cabin. We have had no problem switching from 12V to 120V. The boat comes with the 30 dollar shore power connector, and the 120 dollar boat-to-dock/boat-to-standard outlet, heavy yellow cables. The connector has an LED in it to show power flowing. The zincs are in good shape, extras are included in sale.As you can see from our one hundred percent, 300 deal positive feedback, we are straight shooters. Here is the inclusive list of everything we know about this boat which is not up to our standards. Especially since this will be an absentee sale, since we will be returning north. You can inspect the boat at your leisure before the sale by emailing me and I will give you the address and the person who can show it to you on the trailer. Plus I can give you my phone number and go over the offering to you.Anyway, one small overhead kitchen light fixture needs replacing. It has shorted out, and can't be fixed. The hot water heater, mounted on the left side of the engine compartment, seems to have rusted out (based on the stain), and was removed by a prior owner. We currently use the standard engine water jacket heating, and a solar hot water camping bag/hose when we tie up. A new heater is about $125, and the paperwork for the original heater, and diagrams, is in the notebook. The rear bench seat was removed to make room, and the stern framing is exposed. I was going to build a life jacket and boat bumper cabinet door there, but didn't get to it in time. There is a small portable CO2 horn with the boat, the boat horn doesn't work. A small hand held portable radio comes with the boat, I removed the antenna and transceiver even though they worked - they were too old to be reliable. The dash is wired for a brand new GPS/Fishfinder - all included in the sale, along with the manuals. But the fishfinder transducer hasn't been hooked up yet. The biggest problem is that the boat has a slight starboard list when the water tank isn't filled (which counterbalances the batteries and holding tank on the opposite side.) What I think happened is that the holding tank might have been full when stored up north before we purchased it, and solidified. Either that, or water over the years may have seeped into the foam flotation in the right rear hull - dunno - but that is reason why I'm not selling the boat for $12,000. You will have to install an inspection cover to see - I drilled a small hole and tested for water, but it was dry - for our part, we didn't much care because the slight list can be counterbalanced with a spare gas jerry can tied to the stern ladder on the swim step. The windshield wiper switch does not work. That's all I know about folks. Pretty short list - We spent hundreds of hours enjoying this liveaboard, and hundreds of hours bringing it up to our standards. The docking lines are included. We are very happy with our liveaboard choice, we saved a ton of money and had bay-front accommodation, in a cozy, airy boat. By the way, the top hatches are all screened, and you can have a small fan that moves a lot of cool air into the boat, and out the top, here in Florida until about April, but if you want air conditioning, there is a dedicated circuit breaker for it, but you'll have to get one. Oh, there are several 120 v. outlets in the boat for appliances, vacuum (included), and fans and stuff. The trailer is included with the sale. It alone is worth several thousand dollars. The guy who sold us the boat said the trailer was new - it certainly looked new, and it still does. But when we saw the paperwork, it was made in 2004, but had never been used - hence, I guess, the term "new." Anyway, it is a Hi-Tech Marine trailer, with a new side and back light kit installed. It is heavy fully beamed aluminum. We trailered the boat behind the pickup from New England to southern Florida two years ago (1400 miles), without the slightest issue. The trailer has electric brake and interia brakes. The wiring is in good shape. The four tires are new, because it turns out that just storing it for years creates tiny cracks in the tire lining, and we were told that when the trailer got to hot weather the cracks would expand - anyway, they are one year old now, and look fine. There is no rust anywhere on the trailer. The winch works fine. There are boat guides on the back of the trailer. The boat comes with large anchor (too large for the boat, actually at 22 pounds, chain and then 150 feet of heavy anchor line. There is an anchor chain storage locker behind bow sprint. It comes with a vacuum, around ten lifejackets, mostly new stored under the v-berth, cookware and utensils, the camper top, the second bimini square off top, a one year old storage canvas top ($1,000 last year), but four hull grommet fastners seem to have fallen off this year, a boat hook, shore power extension cord, adapters, and connectors, all manuals in a notebook, digital manuals I can put on a flash drive or email you, and infor for insurance and SeaTow (neither of which we have had to use). It comes with a spare prop ($145), and the one on the boat currently is a high theft item, so don't leave it on when trailered - a heavy stainless steel high quality prop is on the boat. Comes with spare zincs, not needed at present. All I can think you will have to get is a big cooler for 7 day capacity without reicing. Make sure it holds a lot of beer. The former owner did a lot of deep sea fishing with this boat - I assume that's why the rear bench was removed. We have a one year old, very silent, very low vibration Yamaha portable gas generator, not included in the sale. We mounted it in the aft cockpit, and never heard it or felt it while it was running. We used it for power when anchored. It will be for sale separately next month, in CT. You can run a battery at anchor, and run the engine to recharge the battery - but the boat is fully equipped for shore power of course. If you are in the CT area, we have a tender for the boat, and 10 foot West Marine rowboat - it is for sale - we didn't bring it this time because we brought kayaks, which we mounted on the bow. The kayaks, if shown, are not included in the sale. The boat is registered in CT, in our names, and is current and paid through April of 2017. We paid cash there are no liens or loans on the boat or trailer. The trailer is registered in CT, in our names, and is current and paid through 2017. The 2017 registration tags are on the boat, but the fine print on them says they are only good to April 30, 2017.Lastly, we are not interested in trades and payments. The joy of Ebay is that the buyer gets a great deal, and the seller is done. The boat is offered as-is, where-is, with all faults. We have done our best to disclose the faults, but we are not responsible for any faults later discovered. If you bid, you do so in acceptance of these reasonable and typical conditions. Returns or exchanges not accepted. The boat is in the water at our dock until Feb. 20 or so, after that it's on the trailer in the side yard and cannot be launched before sale. We are returning north on Feb. 24 and the boat stays here. If you buy it, you will have to tow it up to the big vehicle storage yard on mile north of us - the local marina can do that for you, or launch it for you and sail it away. Attached is a pic I took today of the boat at the dock with the sea cover on it. Later, we are taking it to Cayo Costa for the night. Good luck bidding, and thanks for reading this !
