" ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS 1964 LYMAN 28" CRUISER "This Is A Beautiful 1964 Lyman 28' Cruiser. Twin small block chevrolet engines. Sleeps 4 easily with galley and enclosed head. Owners Father bought the boat new in 1964 and the boat has always been garaged/covered. Wide bodied and handles rough waters extremely well with Clinker built {lapstrake} construction. Lyman boats were built in Sandusky Ohio and made to run on the Great Lakes. The exterior was refinished a couple of years ago and looks very fresh. Always operated in fresh waters. Mechanical issues have been dealt with as they arose and the boat doesn't need a thing. New twin stainless steel gas tanks, fuel pumps and that sort of thing. The boat has an incredible sound system with satellite radio, Cd, etc. Interior is all original and still looks great. The twin screws enable wonderful handling and the boat can literally turn around in its own radius which makes for easy docking and maneuverability. Halon fire suppression system. Full canvas to enclose rear deck and front window coverings for sleeping privacy. Cabin heater with source from engine. All windows are screened including a sliding screen for the front deck hatch.
