Estimated price for orientation: 25 000 $

Category: Sailing Boats
Class:

Description
Year: 1981 Type: Cruiser
Length (feet): 36 Make: MOODY
Hull Material: GRP Model: 36 DECK SALOON
Keel: Fixed

update: It appears that previous owners, and of course myself, mistakenly assumed that her draft was 1.85 metres, due to the fact her builder's certificate says her "depth" was 1.85mtrs.
"depth" was apparently from the deck to the keel, where as her "draft" is not.
there was no option for Moody's to be built with a longer keel at that time, and her draft is 1.52mtrs,and not as stated earlier.
please do not send me any more offers! she is priced at £25k firm!....please take a good look around, and see what is available for £25k and you will see there is nothing else that even comes close in terms of rarity, quality, size, or value for money, and on top of that, one that has already had such time, effort and indeed as much money recently invested in it!!
It is with a very heavy heart i have decided to sell our boat Le Trek. She is a very rare yacht, being number 4 of 4 of the 1981 moody 36 ds versions.(deck saloon) and the only one in the uk. considerable expense and work  has gone into her,and she has had a lot of money, time and effort spent on her, to make her into the  lovely yacht she is.(14.5k  on new engine (beta 43) gearbox, prop, shaft and bow thruster.(all bills to show) and various very expensive modifications and upgrades we have carried out since ownership over the last two years. she has had well over £22,000 plus spent on her over the last 4/5 years!! with every bill to prove!!i have just recently professionally blasted her hull to bare bones, epoxy filled and faired where needed,2 coats of epoxy,plus 1 coat of underwater primer, and 3 coats of industrial strength antifoul with an incredible  90 month life!she then had an expensive Ambassador  rope cutter fitted, and a very, very expensive Darglow Maxprop self feathering prop fitted,so under water is fully refurbished. All pictures are available for you to peruse,as are spec sheets from the coatings etc. Should you so wish. she also had all underwater anodes replaced before going back into the water. When we first bought Le Trek from Bristol, on the way home we called into a well known boatyard at southwold near Lowestoft......I hate stuffing boxes,so had it removed and had a Volvo dripless seal fitted professionally,(which led to further works needed due to shaft whip!) I had a  new cutless bearing fitted, and her keel bolts were drawn and inspected then painted.....(all bills/receipts available totalling over £3200!!.)Standing rigging is approx 10 years old (bill to prove) and has been inspected and professionally tensioned,at the same time as the above.I don't have an inventory ....but from memory she has everything needed including cutlery!

She has all  autohelm St 50 instruments fitted a few months ago.wind, speed and depth, plus repeaters, both internal and external.+ all transducers,(with all manuals)

1 x Furuno radar.

Autohelm St 3000 autopilot.

Full complete sail set x 2.....These include, two headsails, two mainsails, two spinnakers (1 with spinnaker sock) ,and two storm sails.

1 x  life raft.

set of flares.

One fixed dsc radio.

One hand held radio.

1 x navtex.

Plus various spares, parts etc.

All the above works as it should, with no known problems.(the speed and wind instruments will need calibrating as I haven't had the chance to do so)(a simple process explained in the manuals)
she has two wheeled helms.......outer helm at rear, and inner helm and seat that lifts up out of port seating area.(so best of both worlds!)she has a rear double cabin with en suite heads, main cabin sleeps 3 ,and front cabin is a very large double.(7 berth in total.)Length:                10.97M.Beam:                  3.75MDraft:                    1.52Mshe is priced for a very, very quick and no hassle sale at £25k Firm (her current market value is £35k +) sorry, I will not entertain any offers at all, she is priced to actually sell, and is a real winter bargain. you could not buy a decent rib outfit for this price.......and this is a well sorted, ocean going, blue water cruiser, that I wouldn't hesitate to cross any ocean world wide in!!genuine reluctant reason for sale.only genuine interested buyers with the funds in place please. currently at royal Northumberland yacht club in Blyth. (north east, uk)             Genuine interested parties please give me a call on                Mobile : 07949 018018 or home: 0191 3700648.sorry to genuine ebayer's,but to the rest; Please no more scammers, timewasters, text messages or chancers with no funds......NO OFFERS, MEANS NO OFFERS!!I would like to sell her, but I am not desperate to sell or desperate for money.............she can stay for sale for the next 20 years.......she will not be reduced one penny!Don't just sit on the fence watching............or you will lose out on the bargain of the year!!
