1977 Boston Whaler 15 Sport. Original Gel Coat. Mahogany was re varnished 6 months ago. Original 1977 55 hp motor. Boat comes with cover, cushions, anchor, 6 gal fuel tank, and Taylormade fender. Trailer included. Do not have the bow rail on the boat because I think it look better without, but still have it if you'd like to reinstall. Trailer: Within the past year I have trailered the boat from Austin, Texas, Up to Kansas City then again to Florida. Trailer never has had an issue except the occasional break light bulb replacement. New repacked bearings within the past 3 months. I would trailer this boat anywhere without hesitation. Motor: Carburator was rebuilt 6 months ago and the motor runs strong. The carb should be cleaned out before taking the boat out on the water because its been sitting for a few months. Lower unit seals were just replaced. Has a new aluminum prop.Mahogany: was completely sanded down and had 5 coats of varnish applied 6 months ago. The original steering console has crack and should probably be repaired or replaced. Condition of gelcoat: The gelcoat is original, never painted. There is a spot on the port side of the hull that is circled in the picture above, that could use gelcoat repair for aesthetic purposes. From 10 feet away the boat looks perfect but up close you can see imperfections as expected with any original whaler. Overall this is a great original Whaler.
