For sale Savage Defender SF 5.5 fiberglass boat, manufactured 7/1997, first registered in 2000 with 1997 Johnson 150 HP EFI outboard. Boat, outboard and trailer in very good condition, very clean, with lots of new stuff. The boat has new windows (installed by marine shop), new travel cover, new Bimini with clears, new CD/MP3 player with speakers, new Rule auto/manual bilge pump and control panel,new LED navigation lights, new extendable LED anchor light, cockpit lights, new marine switchboard, dual batteries set up (very good condition marine batteries) with isolator switch, Ritchie compass, Norhtstar GPS/plotter sounder, marine radio, underfloor fuel tank (approx 120 L), large underfloor killtank, two live bait wells (not plumbed), anchor, bait board, SS fishing racks, removable SS rocket launcher (for easy undercover storage), seats in very good condition, safety gear for 5 people, registred until 26/05/2017. This is a variable deadrise hull which works extremly well in choppy waters and cuts easily through the waves providing a very comfortable, soft and dry ride and has good stability at rest. The boat has been designed and manufactured in Melbourne and suits very well Port Phillip Bay and Western port waters. It has high freeboard and big cockpit and combined with lots of storage makes this vessel a very safe and practical fishing platform. The outboard is part of the original boat package, 1997 Johnson 150HP EFI, approx 350 hours, very good condition, easy start every time, very economical, pumps lots of water, has just been serviced, good comps test result (done at last service, results available), SS propeller, original maintenance book available, spare key available, very powerful motor. Trailer is a 1997 dual axle Marlin 2,000 KG GVM with brakes, very good condition, has just been re-galvanized, new coupling with override brake, new wiring, new LED submersible lights, new buddy bearings, alloy wheels, tyres in good condition, tows very nicely. This is a very versatile package that would be suitable as family cruiser, fishing platform (has a very good size cockpit) and any type of water sports (it is a very fast boat powered at maximum manufacturer allowed limit). At under 900 KG (boat and motor) the boat can be easily handled on water by one person and at under 1.5 Tonne BMT(dry weight) no large vehicle is needed to tow this package.
