For sale is my much loved Avon searider 5.4mt with 2008 honda BF90D VTEC.When i bought the searider it had a really nice Mercury 75hp 4 stroke carb model engine and this was fine but the Honda became available and this was fitted in June 2015. With Seastar hydraulic steering.
I had a major service done by Golden Arrow marine on the Honda in April 2016 which confirmed engine hours of just 136.5 hours.I have done around 50 or so since at an estimate. There is a Lowrance Elite 5 DSi chartplotter/fishfinder with navionics , Icom M505 vhf, A nearly new compass, cup holder, 4 new mooring ropes, 2 fenders, nice narrow stainless steel boarding ladder,LED Nav and allround white light, plus 2 new 45 watt LED floodlights, various bits and bobs, also a pair of paddles and a small boat hook. Anchor and chain with rope in the anchor locker. I had proffesionally fitted a twin battery system with independent isolaters as i wanted back up incase of emergency. There is a 53lt plastimo tank under the front of the console with easy access. Reliable working fuel gauge too. Battery gauge for the 2 batteries, trim and Tacho. 3 wing back single jockey seats with loads of storage. Most of this equipment was fitted in the last year or so. The stainless prop in the photo's is not now fitted, it didn't suit really, fitted now is a 4 blade ally prop which gets the rev's to the correct Honda spec and achieves approx 34knots at WOT. Trailer is a Snipe roller which has had a new axle with sealed bearings fitted, looks grubby as i waxoiled it but tows fine. The rib and engine are in very good condition, no tube repairs,Hull antifouled .I like to keep my boat at its best and so have added lots of nice touches in my ownership.I would not be selling this great boat if i could justify keeping 2 boats but with storage fee's etc it just isn't sensible . I have bought a larger Rib with more room for fishing so it has to go.I keep the Searider at the WPNSA in Portland in the hard standing boat yard.Any viewings are welcome, I can be there most times given a bit of notice. Feel free to ask questions.Price is £8000 and i am sorry but this is not really negotiable as it is in such good condition.Message me on ebay if you would like a viewing. Sea trial is welcome but only after sale agreement, pending satisfactory trial. Thanks for looking.Listed elsewhere, so may be removed from auction if sold.Pete.
