I’m extremely regretfully selling my Boston Whaler as i’m looking to buy a house. If you’re searching for a whaler you probably know roughly what you’re looking at, however... It’s a Boston Whaler Guardian 18/19 which shares the same hull as the Outrage of the same era. It’s a circa 1991 model which has obviously had a mixed and well used(slightly abused!) life. It’s probably best seen as a project and as such has wear and tear to be expected with that. I was using it into October when it came out of the water. After wanting one since i was young I bought this as a messy hull for a long term project. To get it in the water for a very short season I added everything onboard quickly, however there’s still work to do or a possible full re-fit project for a lovely boat. The hull has been painted battleship grey at some point, the original colour will have been light grey gel as it is a guardian model. The deck is it’s worst point, it has screw holes/wear and extra hatches in it however is still very solid, so mainly an aesthetic issue. It has a Mariner 150hp V6 2-Stroke engine with a Laser II stainless steel prop. This has had around £800 spent on it last season including a new switch-box, fuel pump and carbs cleaned and rebuilt with new gaskets. It also had an impeller and gear oil change last summer. It has power tilt and trim and has been converted to pre-mix due to professional advice. It has a centre console with chart plotter, reversible twin seat behind with storage below. In front of the console is another twin seat with storage beneath. The steering helm and cable are new last year however is heavy in one direction. Lovely aluminium T-Top fitted. It has a stainless fuel tank under the deck, i intended to lift the deck and re-do breathers before this season as it likes to occasionally spit some fuel out of it at the moment. You could easily switch to an above deck tank instead. It’s on a twin axle trailer that while hasn’t given me any problems, needs a new winch and could do with a going over. The 5HP 4-stroke Honda kicker/small tank aren't included, however can be by negotiation. I also have a walker bay 8ft dinghy that can be included separately. The whaler is advertised elsewhere so i reserve the right to sell outside eBay/end the auction early. Any questions at all please email, text or call on 07975783261. I’m open to genuine offers on the price, it will make a beautiful and capable boat for someone. Deposit of £250 upon auction end via bank transfer, the rest cash on collection. I could deliver locally if it helps.
