This 30' sloop, designed by William Shaw, was one of Pearson's most successful models. The boat is extremely solid with its hand-laid solid fiberglass hull, and The fin keel with lead ballast makes her fast, maneuverable, and stable. The Westerbeke diesel engine, new in 2004, runs extremely well and reliably. She has teak handrails and coming caps, a self-bailing cockpit, a large starboard seat locker and lazarette, and bow and stern pulpits and lifelines.Recent upgrades in 2015 included a new engine bed and new engine mounts, a new bronze 2-blade folding propeller, new cutless bearing and packing gland, new bronze rudder post head fitting, new Ritchie compass, and cosmetic updates throughout the cabin.Sails and Rigging
Dacron Main sail with 2 reefing points and Dacron roller furling Genoa, both in good working condition. Aluminum mast and boom, SS standing rigging. Sheets for both sails, boom vang, 2 headsail halyards, main sail cover. Mast is stepped on cabintop with compression post below.Electrical

Sleeping accommodations for six. Head compartment with SS sink, hand pump with cold water, with a seated bucket toilet (in place of marine head). Main cabin has folding dining table which when lowered converts to a double berth, and there is an aft single berth under the cockpit to port and a 6'5" single berth/settee to starboard. The galley area consists of a 2-burner   alcohol stove, SS sink with cold water, ice box, counter, with stowage outboard and below. Companionway steps pull out for increased engine access. Headroom is 6". New and upgraded cabin teak trim, vinyl ceiling covering, and laminate on the table and galley counter.In the 7 ½' long by 6' wide cockpit are vinyl cushions, tiller steering, teak trim, two self-tailing 2-speed winches with handles. An aft lazarette houses a 2nd anchor, chain and rode.Equipment
