Remodeled 1979 Captain's Craft, REBUILT 50-foot, steel hull HOUSEBOAT; 1997 75-horsepower engine (Pro Series, totally rebuilt by Anchor Marine, LaFollette TN); We have moved to another state & this houseboat has been dry-docked for a few years. It is in need of a good power washing and interior cleaning but with a little elbow grease is a GREAT BUY!! It will take some TLC & minor REPAIRS, but with a little effort it has the potential to be THE place to go each weekend for fun family getaways, fishing & sun bathing on the water! Once it's lake ready you will spend all your time on this home away from home. These pictures are from 4 years ago when the boat was anchored on Norris Lake, TN. As you can see, the interior had been updated and nicely decorated with an open, relaxing layout perfect for day trips, weekends or even extended stays on the lake. Completely self-sufficient. The houseboat will be sold furnished with REMAINING linens, kitchen appliances, rugs, dishes and cookware. Some items shown in pictures have been REMOVED since it has been dry-docked (i.e. TV, one futon, deck furniture). Sleeps 10+ with 3 full size bunks each sleeping 2 comfortably; rear berth has full bed, middle section has 2 full beds; ONE futon in front living room which will make a full-size bed, sleeping 2; refrigerator replaced 6 years ago; working shower with hot water; newer style marine toilet (highest grade) installed 6 years ago along with the holding tank & easy access for pump-outs; King Dome satellite tracking system for Direct TV (TV in photo NOT incl); kitchen has a working gas 3-burner stove and microwave, sink, refrigerator, cabinets. There is a water heater which provides hot water to the sinks and shower. Also included is a Honda 3000, 3kw generator for power when the houseboat is away from the dock (extremely quiet and efficient). The houseboat has onboard water storage and a pump system for water use while away from the dock. Large buoys and an aluminum anchor are included. The wooden anchoring deck shown on the lake does NOT go with the houseboat. This houseboat was taken out on a regular basis and is VERY EASY to operate on the water. It can be taken into any marina and EASILY parked for fuel, water, etc., and is extremely FUEL EFFICIENT. (Used less gas than our deck boat!) It can also be taken to any cove, swimming area (or bridge!) and anchored for a great spot to link up with friends and family. The ROOF TOP DECK is a perfect place for sunbathing and is easy to access from the rear deck. This houseboat is dry-docked at a facility off of HWY 33 in Claiborne County TN, 1 mile South of Cedar Grove Dock across from public access boat ramp, close to 33 Bridge Marina.
