What we have here is a 1955 Cobra hull #017 that was donated to the Alburnett Community School District by an alumni. We know little about the boat other than what the donors has told us. We do have a lot of paperwork and receipts that came with the boat. I would be glad to email them on to you. Here's what we know. It was restored in about 1987 by Wilson Boat Works in Okoboji, IA. It has been revarnished again in the early 90's. Donor says it has only been in the water 3 times and preformed perfectly. It currently has an era correct 283 V8. Engine was pickled with oil and turns free. We feel there is no reason it would't start right up. We understand the 18 foot boats didn't come with a V8 but we did receive the original KLC 6cyl that came in the boat originally, look for it in the pics. It also comes with a custom built trailer sporting wire wheels. Take a look at the pictures and if you are interested or need more info feel free to contact me. I have many other pics. and will try to answer any questions.Been having difficulties trying to respond through ebay so try averyreed32@aol
