I have been a member of Carefree Boat Club since March 2012 and have loved every minute of it. It comes with every amazing feature of owning a boat without all the annoying maintenance, trailering, storage, etc. You literally just hop on the boat and go. When you get back, they tie up and you leave. Not even completely necessary to clean it that well. No more waking up 3 hours early to get the boat ready or spending another 3 hours putting it up. You'd like to say your friends will help with all the prep, but they never do or you're probably too "tired" to worry about it that night and now you dread it when you wake up and you have to clean your boat. How it works: right now they are running a special for $1000 off the initiation fee and no payments till May. Most likely that fee would be $3500-$4000 after any discounts. So I am offering another $1000-$1500 off of that! Equaling a one time $2500 initiation fee. Then all you pay is $350/mo and the gas and you now own 12 different boats! You decide if you want to take out the T-top or the dual console or the ski boat. Also, ask if your boat is worth being added to the club for a smaller monthly fee. Split memberships are allowed between 2 members, so split it with your dad or friend. Oh and great thing is that you can go to ANY other Carefree location in the world and charter a boat at no extra charge! Essentially you own over 100 boats. If you decide to go to Virginia Beach, hop on a boat. Or San Fran Bay, get on the boat while you're there. My location is the Charleston, SC branch, so the initiation fee may even be larger in some areas. I haven't checked, but this could be a huge deal. Go to carefreeboats.com to get a good idea about it. Choose a location near your and see what boats they have in their fleet. You can even request a tour of everything. PM me if interested or have questions. Best decision I ever made. After 5 years of it, I'm moving and I get to walk away Scott free. Unlike a buddy of mine that is in a 15 year mortgage on a ski boat.
