This is a 14 ft rowing boat similar to an Adirondack Guideboat. The main difference is that it has a flatter bottom and is much more stable in rough water, and in many respects is like a lighter version of a St. Lawrence rowing skiff. It is made by a small, well known boatbuilder in Charlotte, Vt. called Adirondack Guideboat. They have a great description of this boat on their website. Including the two sets of oars the dory retails new for about $5,200. We have had this one about five years and have loved it. We just don't use it enough to warrant keeping it.  Happy to send more picures on request.
