Fletcher Arrowflyte 14 foot speed boat with 80 horsepower mercury motor on snipe break back trailer.The boat and trailer have been owned by our family since the early 1980s but has had little use over the last ten or so years so must be sold on to a new home. It's obviously quite old but has been well maintained over the years.The boat has been used for water skiing and and has some modifications for this purpose such as a professionally fabricated stainless ski pole, boarding ladder, large rear view mirror. The seating has been arranged for a spotter facing rear wards next to the driver with a generous space for the skier when getting in and out of the water. The boat has two 20 litre removable fuel tanks which sit in the bow. The boat also has a fairly new professionally made cover using heavy blue tarpaulin with a reflective patch over the engine.The engine is a four cylinder model with electric start and fully functioning power trim. The spark plugs have just been replaced and the engine starts first time on the button. Unfortunately the prop has some damaged but it can be replaced cheaply with a new or second hand item or repaired.The trailers tyres are as new and the wheel bearings are all in great condition, the hubs being greased regularly. The trailer has been modified with a sand hopper spare wheel and hub so you're always carrying a spare of both (great for long trips up to the lakes district ) though the main benefit is that the boat and trailer can run down the beach into the sea and be recovered with a tow rope so your car doesn't need to go in the salt water. The trailer has also been fitted with guide-ons to make recovery easier when the trailer can be difficult to see submerged. The sale doesn't include a trailerboard (lights, numberplate etc) as it has been misplaced - replacements readily available online or from a trailer shop. Included in the sale are some old wet suits, a pair of skis, a disco knee board, a ski tow line and a child's life jacket.
