Fletcher 21ft speedboat with Mercury 200 Black max engine, and Fletcher transcontinental twin axle bunk trailer, all about 1986.  It hasn't been used for 3 years as the crew [my son!] went to university, and now works away. The boat is in  used condition, the hull is very sound and very strong, was originally a ski boat  I think. Wooden deck floor is in good condition, seats are sound and perfectly usable, but the fabric is tired. The fuel gauge worked but other gauges didn't as far as I can remember. new fuel tank fitted 3 years ago.Window  glass a little crazed. Steering worked fine, but a little heavy. The throttle and key switch is fine. It needs a new battery. Fitted with garmin depth gauge, worked fine.  Handled very well and always felt very safe, a testament to its build quality.               Engine is a Mercury Black max 200hp two stroke, separate oil tank, carb induction. Powerful enough for 53mph! however on the last trip out it began to misfire and cut out, so needs attention. Gears and hydraulic tilt  worked fine.               Trailer is galvanised and very strong, no rot, plastic mudguards, one repaired., 4 years ago it had new avon axles complete with new  brakes, hubs and waterproof wheel bearings. Also stainless steel brake cables.  Tyres are well worn but very sound 185/70/13 10ply trailer tyres, gross weight for the trailer is 3500kg, It had a new complete hitch and jockey wheel, hand winch,and custom made removable rear lamps, all in good working order,, trailer is in very good order and ready for the road  .Only for sale due to lack of time, manpower, and other interests!  A substantial package, with a little attention will give as much fun to the next owner as we have had!
