Description Condition: Used Year: 1992 Make: Farrier F9A Custom
This is a wonderful example of Ian Farrier's F9A design. Professionally crafted by the Gavin Hall Boatyard in New Zealand she is well appreciated by admirers in the know. This boat is currently a U.S. documented boat. Due to the owners health and obligations the boat has been lightly sailed since its 2003 upgrades and refit. Most of the upgrades were completed in 2003 just prior to our purchase. She was never raced. She is an absolute dream to sail. This is not a project boat, but could use a touch of TLC and new top side paint to make her the dream she truly is. She is sold as is but I don't think you would be disappointed!!! We can offer a small "commission" back to anyone that completes transfer prior to 2017.THE VITALS LOA 9.4 M (30'10") LWL 9.15 M (30') BOA 6.84 M (22'5") Draft Board Up .41 M (1'4") Draft Board Down 1.67 M (5'6") Towing Weight 3000 lbs approxLAYOUT & ACCOMODATIONS: Center cockpit Aft cabin (queen size bunk) Mid cabin galley, 2 settees (single bunks) & nav station Stainless sink with 18 gal tank, electric and manual pump 2 burner stove Headmate 1460 marine toilet with holding tank Forward cabin, fore bunk, sink, commode, shower reading lights throughout Aft transom swim stepELECTRONICS & NAVIGATION Simrad auto pilot TP30 with remote control Simrad IS15 analog windspeed, direction, angle system Simrad IS15 depth, boat speed Combi display VHG radio with mast antennae carbon monoxide detector Sunnto power dampened compassMECHANCIAL & ELECTRICAL 2005 9.9 Tohatsu with alternator, 4 stroke, long shaft, less than 60 hours 2 12v batteries Siemens solar cell (maintain batteries) Battery safety switch Fuses and circuit breakers 12v Electric bilge pump Manual bilge pumps, fixed and portableDECK AND HULLS Sterling linear poly paint 2003 non skid paint 2003 Sunrise newer wing nets Sunrise Open Water Safety nets new, not installed Custom deck layout for short handling remote controls for outboard in center cockpit CQR and Danforth anchors 5 stainless steel Andersen winches Stainless steel bow pulpit Removable lifelines on amas Dodger Tiller steering Articulating bowsprit 24/7 cowling vent with solar charged battery above aft cabin storage compartments in amasSAILS AND RIGGING Fixed mast aluminum sloop T-900 2-1 main and screecher halyards Full batten Spectra main (3 reef points) Patterson Spectra screecher on Harker furler 2 Mylar/Kevlar Genoas on Harken furler (one is past her prime) Asymmetrical spinnaker (864 sg ft) with douser Jib (210 sg ft) never used Hi tech running riggingOTHER Galvanized trailer dual axle
