1990 SEARAY SEA RAY Sundancer 270DA Project Boat Cabin Cruiser: Most of the major systems on the boat will need repair, rebuilding or servicing of one type or another. The engine needs new manifolds & the outdrive is off of the transom. Model of the engine is a Mercury 7.4 V8 engine. The outdrive needs either steering linkage replaced and/or a gimbal ring repair or replacement. (Currently lots of free play in the outdrive). The generator has not been run in approx. 2 ½ years; last time it ran, it ran for about 5 minutes and then shut off. (Model number of the generator is an Onan First Mate 3.0). The a/c has not been used since we bought the boat 8-9 years ago. The windlass will need to be repaired or replaced. On the positive side, the interior is in generally good condition, as is the hull. I was told the transom has a small amount of dry rot near the outdrive. The boat comes with a full camper enclosure. The trailer has 4 brand new tires, and the other two are only about 2-3 years old. The tires are always covered when the boat is stored. The trailer was converted from drum brakes to disc brakes about 3-4 years ago. The boat has new bottom paint. The boat comes with a Garmin GPS and a Lowrance fishfinder. The boat also has a 9’ beam, and a 100 gallon gas tank. The boat sleeps 6 (either 5 adults, or 4 adults and 2 kids comfortably). The outdrive was converted from a Bravo 1 to a Bravo III before we bought the boat in 2008 .
