She was relaunched in December 2002. It commenced operations as the Cygnet in January 2003 and has operated on an almost daily basis, as a commercial vessel until recently. There were some teething problems; once resolved the boat became a reliable worker The Cygnet is an eye catching vessel which is in demand for weddings and other functions where she has been known to upstage the guest of honour. Cygnet is a replica Edwardian launch from the Selway Fisher range of boats. A 26 foot version specially modified by Paul Fisher to increase the comfort level inside. The modification is now offered as part of the 26 ft. Edwardian set of plans. Built by the modern, glued strip plank method and sheathed in fibre glass embedded in epoxy. It is a strong boat.
