Inventory # 9987 Location: Carrabelle, FL General Description: This 1994 43' Chris Craft Continental Motor Yacht partially submerged for undetermined cause. The vessel went down in the stern. Inside the cabin demarcation lines indicate water rose approximately 6’ above cabin sole. Structurally the boat appears in very good condition, some moderate scratches and chalkiness to the hull. Deck hardware including rails, cleats, hatches, etc., appear in good condition. The cockpit deck has been cut out and removed to facilitate preserving the engines. All interior components submerged, A/C units, refrigerator, stove, electronics, electrical panels. There are no evident openings in the hull that would contribute to submersion. It is possible the forward AC and windlass avoided flooding; both appeared in good condition but no way to test. There are other minor cosmetic issues such as bent vents, crack in hard-top, some broken above waterline thru-hulls, etc. Not all equipment could be tested as no power to vessel at time of inspection. Other: A/C, submerged, in poor condition, not tested. Arch appears in fair condition for age. Flybridge: Everything on the flybridge appears undamaged, the controls operated, the electronics appear good (no power to test), shows some delamination and cracks. The electronics on flybridge: Furuno Radar display Logic depth gauge Logic compass Uniden VHF Garmin GPSmap 441s along with engines’ instrument gauges. Gauges and controls appear in good condition, unable to test, did not appear submerged. Galley: Galley with sink, storage above and below, Microwave, Refrigerator and Stove. All appliances submerged, not tested, condition unknown. Interior with salon, convertible dinette, forward berth, guest room with bunks. Some of the interior paneling has swollen due to moisture, some doors and drawers won’t open or close. Mildew throughout. Upholstery in poor condition, stained, some soft goods not serviceable. Headliner in fair condition, some staining. Carpet in poor condition, stained.
Ground Tackle: Simpson Lowrance Windlass appears in fair condition, not tested.
Canvas, Mast Rigging, Sails: Bimini frame and isinglass/canvas in good condition.

The winning bidder ("buyer") is allowed an inspection period to verify that the item substantially complies with the published description. A buyer who has inspected an item prior to final bid shall be deemed to have accepted the condition of the item at the time of the inspection but may reserve inspection following close of the auction only as to any changes in the item between the time of the initial inspection and a subsequent inspection made within the time for voiding the sale as set forth herein. The time period for voiding the sale and giving notice to USauctions of such ends the earlier of the time buyer ships or otherwise takes possession of the item, 24 hours following actual inspection of the item or 10 days following close of the auction. Payment of bid, default
Buyer shall be obligated to pay the lesser of 25% of the bid amount or $25,000 not later than the close of business on the third business day following the close of bidding. Payment instructions will be sent via buyer’s listed e-mail following the close of the auction. Payment may be made by bank wire, by sending a cashier's check by mail, or by direct deposit of a cashier's check into the USauctions trust account. NO CASH OR PERSONAL CHECKS ACCEPTED.
