Estimated price for orientation: 70 000 $
Category: Narrowboats or Canalboats
Class:
Description Country/Region of Manufacture: United Kingdom
2007 50 x 12 foot Liverpool widebeam live aboard with cruiser stern, potential to retain residential side mooring subject to management approval (no river licence needed on the mooring)Myself and my wife purchased the boat 18 months ago, upgrading from a narrowboat. As soon as we saw this boat we fell in love and bought it home from Sheffield to Loughborough. We have fitted new batteries, new roller blinds throughout, new door handles, new taps, and also new top quality canopies costing £4500. Since then we have been living happily aboard but due to a recent job offer in New Zealand we have decided to emigrate. Inside, the boat is beautifully decked out in high quality wood. It has a very spacious lounge which is great for entertaining or just for having family over, a large bathroom with double sized shower cubicle, lovely sink, storage, and a cassette toilet (with 3 cassettes). There is a very well designed kitchen area with ample worktops, and cupboards, and a calor gas oven/grill/hob. The boat has one bedroom with a double bed. A sofa bed in the lounge can accommodate a further 2 people and the sofa a further 1 if required. Also a side hatch. There are two fitted wardrobes, one at either end of the boat, and ample storage (cupboards in lounge, and kitchen plus chest of drawers at the rear of the boat) . The boat has a very large water tank which we only need to fill every few weeks despite plenty of showers and washing up. The Isuzu engine and gearbox has only covered 700 hours in total in 10 years. The engine room is pristine. By trade I am a boat engineer and the engine is well serviced. Sterling 1.5 kW invertor and Morco 11 litre gas water heater. Room for two calor gas bottles in rear cratch. Storage area in bow locker. Brand new fridge freezer, large widescreen TV with sound bar (in lounge), 27" TV (in bedroom), two sofas (one a sofa bed - fairly comfortable by comparison to most) are all included in the sale. There is plumbing for a washing machine, but we have no need for one so there is not currently one on the boat. The fire, as shown in the pictures, is large, and supplies ample heating for the entire boat (we are never cold - even the wife). Gas oven/hob/grill and general boat equipment are also all included in the sale. A new boat safety (BSS) has been completed this summer and any trials and inspections are more than welcome as this boat has had very little cruising use and has been extremely well maintained inside and out. Anybody viewing the boat will not be disappointed with what they see and what is supplied with the boat. Re: Mooring - we are currently moored at Meadow Farm Marina, Barrow Upon Soar, Loughborough on a beautiful side mooring with decking and lawn. The marina has a real community feel about it, well maintained gardens, private parking and a bar/clubhouse. The mooring is available with the purchase of the boat subject to marina management approval. Current monthly moorings cost approx £140/month.The shed, garden furniture, lawnmower, satellite dish, etc. is negotiable if you are keeping the boat on the mooring. You do not need a CRT river licence on our mooring, but would need to purchase a licence if you wanted to take the boat out. The boat comes with all relevant paperwork, owners manual, declaration of conformance, declaration of conformity, previous sales invoices, etc.We will not take offers on the advertised value, and will also not swap for anything so please don't ask. Viewing is most welcome as I believe first to view will buy. Anybody viewing the boat will not be disappointed.Any questions call Scott 07763 266 066. Please, no texts. Just to reiterate: no offers, no swaps, no trade ins, boat doesn't leave our ownership until you have paid us in full (e.g. no pay half now rest in 2017 etc). Relisted due to buyers change in circumstances.
