Sea Doo Speedster 200 – Sandy 2 2004 310hp Jet Boat This Sea-Doo Speedster 200 is probably the best x mas present a family could get.  It is a beautifully and boldly designed boat that gets a reaction from boaters everywhere. Its unique rear sundeck, which has a raised, wing-like profile that looks like a variation on an automobile spoiler. Superbly spacious for a small boat with a hydro turf covered platform. Sandy 2 has been fastidiously maintained by a Seadoo dealer, last serviced in April this year.  She has approx. 135 running engine hours and is MCA registered, seating 7 persons.  Lots of owner history, bills etc. and the original VAT paid receipt.  Dry stacked for the majority of her life currently lying in Plymouth, Devon. She is powered by x2 Rotax 4-TEC, 155hp four-stroke engines, total 310 hp driving through jet drives.  It’s called a speedster because performance is impressive getting on the plane around 4,500 rpm. The Speedster 200 makes zero to 30 mph in 9 seconds, and cruises around 5000 rpm at 25-30mph. The boat hits a top speed of approx. 50 mph.  Stowage space is impressive for a bowrider with a large storage locker at the tip of the bow and two small mini-settees/seats flanking each side. Instead of a walk through windshield, the boat has two separate windscreens one on the helm console and one on the port console. The upholstery on the boat stunning to look at but has a few 1cm splits though general wear and tear but this does not detract from the boats overall good condition. The bucket seats at the helm console are comfortable and swivel to make for good entertaining.
The helm has a way-cool futuristic look that we loved, with the gauges aligned in a double-V formation. Rocker switches are located right below the gauges, within easy reach.
The port side companion console houses an AM/FM CD stereo system, which includes four speakers, and a built-in ice chest is hidden under that console windscreen. A ski storage locker is built into the deck space between the two consoles allowing stowage of a few kids wake boards and ski’s.A long, straight settee runs along the back side of the cockpit. Behind the settee is the spoiler-like sun pad, which has massive storage underneath. The two cushions on the sun pad flip up like French doors, making the space a great spot for hiding extra gear and life jackets. The boat has a new Seadoo bimini cover which has never been fitted and it comes on a solid Degraaf trailer bought used from Degraaf this year with a spare wheel.  However one wheel bearing may need replacing prior to a long journey as the grease cover has fallen off at some stage.Standard Features
Padded/bolstered seating, glove compartment, full instrumentation, non-skid decking, 12v jack, non-slip grab handles, navigational lights, auto bilge pump/switch, six stainless steel cleats, deck lighting.
Will be sorry to see Sandy go, this summer was awesome in the Mediterranean but need to sell to pay for much needed house renovations.  Happy Bidding.
