Selling our Carver Montego cruiser due to lack of use now that I'm based back on the Gold Coast.
It is moored on a rented mooring in Lavender Bay adjacent to Luna Park with great views of the Harbour Bridge. An outstanding position to watch the New Years Eve fireworks as the last photo demonstrates.
The boat was serviced last year and new risers an manifolds fitted. New canvas and clears were also fitted at the same time and other work carried out including new marine batteries (solar on the hard top to keep them charged). I also fitted a new fresh water pressure pump and engine bay blower.
The boat comes complete with everything you need for a day on the Harbour or overnight stays. Including:
V berth forward double berth in rear of cabin.
Lowrance sounder/GPS, epirb, life jackets charts/maps marine radio.
Bedding, cooking, eating and drinking implements, stainless gas bbq etc.It has a small fridge and two small eskys to keep the essentials cold.
TV and radio
Included is the RIB inflatable and Yamaha 4hp outboard (requires a service)
What it needs:
a good clean (I had an underwater hull clean done a couple of months ago)
anchor winch serviced
fuel and temperature gauges repaired
The marine toilet has been removed and a camping cassette type is being used as it is easier to empty on shore.
The listed price represents a substantial reduction on what it has cost me but common sense says sell it to someone who will make good use of it rather than just let it sit idle.
The mooring is paid through until January and can be taken over by arrangement with Sailcorp who own the mooring and provide a tender service to and from the boat and a shower and toilet facility on shore. They can also provide other maintenance services if required.
I will be in Sydney and available to show the boat to serious buyers on Sunday afternoon 11 December.
Please, no swaps or ridiculous offers.
Any questions please ask.
