1960 Chris Craft 17 foot Sportsman Utility. It is an inboard Mahogany Wood Boat. This Chris Craft has the bleached king plank (Center on the Stern) that looks much better than the boats without. Many of these boats came with a ski tow that attached to the engine. This boat did not receive that package from the factory and is not setup for skiing. It has an inboard Chevrolet 283 V8. The engine was rebuilt back in the late 90s but has less than 50 hours on the rebuild. Boat is in fair condition but will require maintenance for the next owner. The varnish is beginning to peel and will require staining and varnish again. This boat has the correct floor boards wrapped in period matching tolex. Boat come on a two axle trailer. The trailer is equipped with bunks that the boat sits on and a strap that uses a winch to tighten the boat to the trailer via a heavy strap that goes around the boat about the boot stripe. Trailer was equipped with a brake system that was actuated by weight shifting on the Trailer tongue. Brake tongue is included but axles are no longer equipped with brakes.auction include functional bow mast light. This Chris Craft has finished planks in the interior of the boat.All the mahogany is original from 1960 (no planks were replaced).
