Up for sale is a 1997 Yamaha SuperJet which I bought as it currently sits, a number of years ago with the vision of rebuilding it for my own use. It has since been sitting in the shed gathering dust, as I haven't had time to complete it.The engine has been bored out to a 780cc, and has had a number of mods done to it such as high comp heads and pistons, hot cam, reed valves, etc etc. However, it looks like it will probably need a full rebuild as these components aren't in great condition as pictured. Some parts will be okay, and as far as I can see, there aren't any cracks in the crankcase and the cylinders don't have any scoring and may be able to be reused. The exhaust/expansion chamber and exhaust manifold are in good condition, as is the head and aftermarket intake manifold (despite needing new reed valves). Engine mounts are fine but will need new rubbers. There is an aftermarket Worx intake grate, and aftermarket ride plate, aftermarket throttle trigger, grips, bars, etc. The fuel tank is there, as is the battery holder, old plugs and some oil. The jet appears to be in position, but the pump looks shot (as pictured) and will need a rebuild or replacement which shouldn't be too expensive. What you see is what you get, this would be a brilliant project for someone who is mechanically minded as all the parts to get it running are readily available and are pretty cheap from the U.S. I wish I had the time to do it myself but unfortunately do not as the moment.*NOTE* trailer not included (broken anyway), will fit in the ute or large station wagon.Cash on delivery of EFT preferred. Inspections welcome, located inner north CBD.Thanks,Alex0434 032 046
