*** This is an opportunity for Fractional Ownership. Please read this carefully and contact me directly with any questions. *** I am not a broker or dealer. I am looking to enter into a fractional ownership agreement on a new yacht with 9 (nine) other responsible individuals who are looking to save money on the ownership of a 50ft or larger sized yacht. Each individual will be responsible for 1/10th of the purchase price and a monthly maintenance fee (examples below). With the fractional ownership agreement, each fractional owner will have approximately 4-5 weeks to enjoy that will be divided up throughout the year (these weeks will rotate annually). Each allocated week can be utilized by the fractional owner for their own personal use or sold as a charter (with captain). The fractional ownership agreement will last for 5 (five) years at which time the yacht will be sold and all proceeds will be distributed equally to all fractional owners (less any brokerage fees or expenses to sell). While this has not been decided, I anticipate the yacht to be docked in the Inner Harbor of Baltimore, MD from May 10 to Oct 31 and Marigot, St. Martin from Nov 10 to May 1.Example 1: Purchase of a 2016 Prestige 550 Flybridge - $1,175,000 (each owner would pay $117,500 upfront) Yearly marina / docking / insurance / transportation / fuel and maintenance costs - $61,000 (each owner would pay approx. $500 monthly) After 5 Years - Sell 2016 Prestige 550 Flybridge - $400,000 net (each owner would receive $40,000) In this example the total 5 (five) year costs for the 1/10th fractional ownership would be $107,500 or equivalent to $21,500 in annual costs.
Example 2: Purchase of a 2009 Sea Ray 58 Sedan Bridge - $635,000 (each owner would pay $63,500 upfront) Yearly marina / docking / insurance / transportation / fuel and maintenance costs - $61,000 (each owner would pay approx. $500 monthly) After 5 Years - Sell 2009 Sea Ray 58 Sedan Bridge - $190,000 net (each owner would receive $19,000) In this example the total 5 (five) year costs for the 1/10th fractional ownership would be $74,500 or equivalent to $14,900 in annual costs. This would be a contractual agreement set up as an LLC and all terms would be determined and agreed upon by all fractional owners.
