This is no ordinary Mirage 26, previously owned by a marine engineer this yacht has bennefitted from system upgrades usually found only on moder cruisers, she is also in fantastic condition and without a shadow of a doubt the best Mirage or possibly the best equipped 26 - 29 foot boat more than 5 years old available on the market today. If your looking for a reliable sub £10,000 pound cruiser either as a first time buyer or experienced hand then you wont buy better. This boat is also fitted with a modern Eberspacher heating system, the system heats water which is then fed to cabin, heads and for-peak radiators, in addition and unusually radiators are also fitted into the cabin storage areas which make this an exceptionally dry and cozy boat in poor weather. This heating system, plus the modernisation of all systems has had the by product of preventing the boat (Smelling) like an old boat which many older boats suffer from, the cabin is clean and fresh in every way, Which is the main reason my wife went for it! Mechanical Systems Located beneath the cockpit sole, Beta BZ482 13.5hp 2-cylinder diesel engine (new 2003). Freshwater cooled via heat exchanger. Single lever controls with electric start. Shaft drive with rope cutter to fixed 3-bladed propeller. Engine room winter heater. The engine has been regularly serviced and appears to be in exceptional condition. Electrical Systems 3 x 12v Batteries (one new 2014) charged via engine alternator. Shorepower system with ring mains (with breakers and gauges), battery charger and immersion coil for water heating. 800w Inverter. Solar panel. Electrical distribution panel with voltmeter. Full cabin lighting including lighting in cupboards and engine compartment. All wiring has been checked and upgraded to a far higher standard than usually found on a yacht of this size.
