Questions about these eBay deals?  any time, or call / come see me during my office hours, and I'll get you all the answers you need.
All my contact info is at the bottom of this auction, in the "contact us" section.
We are an RV dealer in the mountains of Western Maryland. You are looking at a non-RV that we took on trade towards an RV. It is a privately-owned unit that was traded in to our dealership - it is NOT something we bought at an auction, it is NOT a repo, it is NOT a salvage piece. We avoid items like those, for the same reason you do - you just don't know what you're getting. But if a customer wants to trade an item like this in, towards an RV purchase...well...equity is equity, and if we think we can sell it, we'll take it on trade! We're not a boat dealer - right off the bat. So, that's why you won't see the sort of detail here that you see in our RV ads. Sorry, but it's a product we're just not as familiar with. That said, I've researched the best I can (with google's help) to get you some information here. But in the end...this is a chance for you to get an awesome deal on a nice older cabin cruiser. Mainly because we took it on trade at the wrong end of the season! But...we needed to make the deal with these folks on the RV they wanted ("you can only have so many toys...something's got to go!!"), so we made it happen. Now YOU can save a ton on that boat you always wanted! Overall...this boat's not bad. We don't do many boats here (as an RV dealer, in the mountains of Maryland), but objectively I've seen a lot worse 20 year old vehicles. The fixtures look good, upholstery looks good, there's no funky odors and I didn't see any rips or tears. The overhead carpeting shows some signs of water staining but nothing hateful, and nothing that shouldn't wash out with a little effort and cleaner. Again, there are no funky smells and in the RV world that's always the biggest thing. The photos are of THIS boat, so you can see the condition for yourself - if I was a "boat guy", I wouldn't be afraid of this one. Nothing jumps out at me as a major issue. The bridge also looks good - the fiberglass deck is in nice shape, the seats look good, there's a frame for a bimini top, the glass (plexi, I presume) looks good, the roof looks good, it's got a full complement of gauges and instruments, and even the motor looks to be in nice shape. We did fire it up (we have water ears; one of our managers is a boat guy so we know how to start and run them safely), and while it hadn't been used since early this season, it did start and run nicely. Once it ran for a couple minutes it cleared up even more and ran great! The drive works like it should and it doesn't blow any smoke or make any noises.Cosmetics on the outside are decent - it's 20 years old, it won't be perfect. The owner appears to have used it in salt water; there's evidence of some growth below the waterline. Overall it's clean without any big scrapes or damage, but there are some spots below the waterline where the gelcoat will want to be skimmed over just to clean it up. I'm not sure - again, not a boat dealer or a boat "guy" - if there's a sealer or procedure for this on a boat, but if there is, this one is a prime candidate. I didn't see any cracks or "damage", just some chipping here and there where the gelcoat has flaked. And, you can probably plan on a new prop - no big chunks, but there are some nicks and dings in it and from what I understand it's a good idea to drop in a new one as maintenance - and to get one with your own preferred pitch, depending what you're going to do with the boat (not a boat guy, but we do see these come through here from time to time so a couple of the terms have 'stuck'!). The boat may not be perfect...but on the other hand, we don't have a "perfect boat" price on it either! The auction includes both the boat and the trailer, and if the buyer lives in MD we can include the state safety inspection on the trailer...but you're on your own with DNR to register the boat itself, we're simply not set up to do any of that here. The trailer looks nice though - good frame, no damage, surge brakes, galvanized steel, nice boards/pads for the hull to slide on. It's no electronic-loading Cadillac of a trailer...but it should definitely get the job done for you! The tires don't look brand new...but I've towed on worse and see no reason these won't get you and the boat home when you buy it.Basically though...just like I said up top, this is a boat that we know we traded in at the wrong end of the season (and as an extension of that...no, sorry, we don't want to trade a different boat in on this one). It's a 20 year old boat so we didn't put a ton of cash into it...and we're not asking a ton of cash for it. We've got a bare bones price on it for a quick sale. And from the buyer's end...grab it quick, get it home or to your dock, and get started on addressing some of the cosmetics over the winter when it's not eating into your boating time. The sooner you get started, the more you can get done before boat season starts and it's time to put it in the water. You won't lose any time, and this one here has a ton of potential. Heck, if you just want something you can put in the water and USE? I see no reason this one won't do just that.  Why do we sell on eBay?
Exposure, plain and simple. We want as many people as possible to see our items, so we can sell more of them. Why should I buy here on eBay?CONVENIENCE.

You don't have to be here in person to make the unit yours! You click the button; you make the deposit; and the unit is YOURS. I lock it up and mark it sold, and nobody messes with it. We sort all the paperwork electronically, and I get everything prepped so you can make ONE TRIP to pick it up, pay for it, and take it home with you! And if you're a remote buyer (not local to Maryland), I'm used to dealing with shippers and all the extra paperwork that's involved for remote buyers. It's what I do, day in and day out, and your paperwork will be done quickly and correctly so all you have to do is enjoy your purchase! What do we sell on eBay?
We're an RV dealer, and we sell clear-title, private-party trade-ins. There's a scrolling gallery on every one of my auction pages that shows all our current listings - we've got a little of everything. Want a dirt-cheap project camper? Got 'em. Want a good deal on a nice RV? Got those too. Motorized, towable, popups, 5th wheels, travel trailers, you name it and I probably have one (or more) that will fit what you're looking for. And sometimes (as you can see here)...we even have cars, trucks, motorcycles, boats...just keep an eye on our listings, you never know what might pop up!
Don't see what you're looking for? ! I'll see what else we've got in stock that might work for you! Just because it's not on eBay doesn't mean we don't have it - we've got nearly 500 UNITS IN STOCK!!
Can I come see an item in person before I bid?
SURE!! Our location is at the top of this ad - there's a link to us on Mapquest, you can plot your directions right there.
Just make sure when you get here, that you ASK FOR JOE (THE EBAY GUY)Why do I need to ask for Joe?
Because I'm the eBay guy!
I write all these ads personally.
I take all the photos personally.
I go through all the units personally.
I don't use website photos or canned descriptions - I walk through them and check them out for you with my own two eyes.
All that takes time, and effort - and let's face it, it's what got you interested in this item to begin with!

If you have questions about this item...I've gone through it personally, and I can answer all your questions because of it.
Sure, there are other salespeople here - but we all get our pricing from the same managers, so talking to someone else in the hopes they'll come up with a lower price than you see here on eBay? It won't work (and that's a direct quote from the company owner), so ASK FOR JOE and you're going to get a great unit for a great price, from someone who's gone through it personally and checked everything out for you so you know what you're getting for your money!!Ask for Joe - you get a great unit for a great price, I get paid for all the hard work I do...everyone goes home happy!

Can I buy it outside of eBay?
I guess you could...but why
My pricing here is thousands below retail - I've DONE your haggling for you already!
eBay is quick, and it's easy. You don't have to be here in person, just click the button, make the deposit...and it's all yours! Locked up and waiting for you to arrive!
There are no surprise fees when you buy it here - for you, or for me. I pay my listing fees when I put an item online, and
there are no fees when they sell on eBay.
And lastly, if I have to pull an item because of an off-eBay sale...it hurts my seller rating (eBay sees it as a "failure to fulfill an order"), so we try really hard not to do that.
If you want to see it in person, come out and see it...but ask for Joe and bring your smartphone so you can click that button on the lot. People do it all the time! When you do, you get a great deal on an item...and I get paid for the work I did writing the ad! If you buy it from one of my coworkers...I don't get paid for all the work I did on the ad!! That doesn't save you any money...it just means THEY get paid, NOT ME.
Do you like getting paid for the work you do?
So do I !!!!!!!
So...
BRING YOUR PHONE and be ready to
 CLICK THAT BUTTON!!
