RIB hull mould with additional "wide beam" side extensions – can produce RIBs from 6-9.5m This mould was originally designed in the UK, and marketed under the brand of “Tohatsu RIBs”. Boats were produced from this mould from 6 – 9.5 meters. The mould also has two removable side pieces which allow a deeper and wider hull to be produced, primarily for the 9.5 model but could also be used for shorter versions thus giving you the option of normal or wide beam models. All Tohatsu RIBs from 6m up have come from this mould. It hasn’t been used for several years and will require some refinishing prior to use. The Tohatsu range was successfully fitted with diesel inboards and petrol outboards. A wide range of internal configurations are possible. The hull is a well respected design and handles well. There are a number of reviews online, one can found here: The mould comes with a declaration from Tohatsu UK confirming that it is sold free of any encumbrances meaning the new owner is free to use it and produce boats from it under their own name as they wish. Furthermore, details of the company that produced these RIBs from this mould on behalf of Tohatsu will be provided. I have recently been in touch with them and they are able to produce pretty much whatever you want from this mould in terms of length and configuration. They still have most of the original notes and paperwork accumulated over the years, which means that producing a RIB and getting it CE marked should be very straightforward. They can build anything from just a hull through to a completed RIB with tubes and consoles as desired. The main mould is reasonably heavy (probably around 500kg) and quite long (around 9.5m) so a long trailer will be required to take it away. We can assist with loading. Delivery is possible at additional cost.Payment either cash on collection or by bank transfer. A £250 deposit will be required within 24 hours of someone clicking buy it now or a best offer being accepted. Strictly no returns on this item, and sold as seen on a trade sale basis.
