Up for auction is my much loved Gilflite Spitfire II "Funky Monkey". This boat has given myself and my family hours and hours of fun and has rarely missed a beat. It's a real head turner with its bright yellow hull and sleek look. Looks great both on and off the water! This boat is boasting a strong 350 chev centremount soft clutch, which has been well maintained and has had a major service ready for the summer season to begin! The clutch is near enough to new as only installed the end of last season. All recent work includes new clutch, new pressure plate, new throw out bearing, new spigit bush, new spark plugs, holley carby rebuilt two seasons ago, all top end gaskets done and water lines replaced from the pick-ups to the water pump. The new owner might want to do a retrim as the seats are looking faded and have a number or marks on them but never got around to it as it obviously didn't effect our use of the boat.Boat has a custom bimini cover and brand new fluid core high pole only installed last season.Trailer is tandom axle, very solid with 18inch mags, bearings have been done in the last 6 months. The bottom of the hull has some slight paint work damage (as per photo) due to the dam turning into the ocean just as I was loading onto trailer. Was quoted $150 to fix this but never got around to it. Both boat and trailer have current rego. During the time I have owned this boat it has never touched the salt and has been washed after every use. Have only ever used the best fuel and have always looked after her.I have found this boat to be very reliable (the most reliable boat I have ever owned) and very economical. This is a pretty regretful sale and still not sure if I am doing the right thing. The only reasons for selling is I am getting fed up with the local dams and stuggling to get a good crew together. I am open to reasonable offers but won't be moving too much on price as I am not desperate to sell. All inspections or questions are welcome and you can either text or call me on 0452 621 178. Boat is located in Ningi (between caboolture and Bribie island).
