I'm selling my 2004 Farallon 2300 Diesel Walkaround Pilothouse Sportfisher. Purchased in July 2014 from the original owner with only 608hrs on it.... Currently has 915hrs on the clock. It's 23' 4" long with a 8' 6" beam with a 2' 6" draft. When I purchased it it was rigged with circa 2004 Furuno electronics (Radar, Chart, GPS, Sonar), a stereo and a basic VHF radio. The original owner took amazing care of it and it was immaculate when I bought it, It's lived it's entire life on the trailer and it's never had bottom paint. The longest it has stayed in the water is 2 weeks. It comes with a briefcase full with every single piece of paperwork, receipts, manuals and documentation for it. The original owner had it maintained by Helmut's Marine since it was new, I have done the same since I have owned it. Here are the details, specs and what I have improved on it, Everything that is mentioned NEW was purchased beginning January 2015 thru May 2015.Engine / Outdrive:  Volvo D4/210 Turbo Diesel with 210hp Volvo DPH-A DuoProp Outdrive w/ power steeringBoth engine and drive are original to the boat and have been serviced every 100hrs (Oil changed, Filters changed, Impeller changed, Breather cleaned). Zinc's replaced as needed, Exhaust and drive bellows replaced every 300hrs. Coolant and aftercooler flushed as required and it's been flushed with Salt-Away after every trip. I currently have it scheduled for a full service which includes: Engine oil and filters, Drive oil, Zinc's, Impeller and both bellows. I just replaced the shift cable and electronic shift actuator as the originals were getting a little tired. It purrs like a sewing machine, No smoke and no issues.... I would not even hesitate taking this boat 100+ miles offshore to chase some BFT. With a 105 gallon fuel tank you get about a 300 mile range. 2600rpm burns about 5.2gal/hr, 3500rpm max engine speed. At 2700rpm I get about 20knts, At 3200 I get about 25knts. For an all day salmon troll up and down the coast it will burn about 10 to 12 gallons. Also included is a pair of brand new in the crate factory replacement aluminum framed windshields to replace the vinyl framed ones... An upgrade that I had yet to install. The boat sits on a Pacific galvanized trailer that came with it when new... I just put 4 new radials on it at the cost of $628. It has a new tongue jack and bow roller as well as all new LED lighting all the way around (7 total). The brakes suck, It needs a brake job for sure. I never did them as my Dodge truck stops it pretty good on it's own. Hubs and bearings are fine, They have buddies on them and I've kept them greased. I was planning on getting a brake rotor / caliper kit from Pacific and maybe the torsion axle upgrade but never did. The trailer pulls straight and is in good condition but as said..... It needs brakes.  The V-Berth is large enough for a 6'2" person to lay down straight, It's pretty roomy down there, Tons of storage. The boat itself is great, Handles like a dream. Quick and responsive steering, Trolls at 2.6kt in gear at idle. Handles rough seas safely, These boats were designed for our West Coast waters. I've been through some decent seat puckering seas coming across the bar and around Bonita.... It gets you home safely. Fished from the Golden Gate to Half Moon Bay to Bodega and the Farallon's. Someone is going to really enjoy this boat. I never thought I'd sell it but due to financial responsibilities I pretty much have to let it go.Current California registration, Permanent California trailer registration. This boat today from Farallon with a Volvo D4/225 DPH package, trailer and rigged with identical equipment with tax would run you close to $140,000.00. Base alone with basic rigging and no power is $61,800.00.Serious local buyers welcome to come check it out.
