This fine original 17' 1948 Chris Craft Runabout has been owned by the same family in Florida for over 45 years. She is part of an estate and was owned by a very dedicated and active hands on owner. She was used extensively and lovingly until his health limited same. One of the last things the owner accomplished was the full restoration of his faithful and trust Chris Craft Runabout Speedboat. The restoration included complete refastening throughout and a complete engine rebuild of the original 90hp Chris Craft 6 cylinder engine & gearbox. The Hull under the waterline has been previously and professionally fiberglassed and there is no rot. As you can see by all images, this boat is ready for you to love and use. She actually carried her previous owner (with additional fuel tankage) on several trips across the Gulf Stream to the Bahamas so she has proved her strength and seaworthiness. This vessel is for sale locally and on other marketplaces. We will sell to the highest bidder. A $1,000.00 Immediate deposit will be required at the end of the auction. - This deposit is refundable only if upon inspection she is not what our images depict she is.
