I'm selling my boat 'Blenheim' that I have happily lived on since 2011 as I'm moving to a place where there are no canals. The boat has been newly decorated in a mid century modern style with many original 1950s and early 1960s objects, it is a must see - a beautiful boat and ready to move on to! 'Blenheim' was build in Calcut Marine in Rugby in 1990, and has BMC 1.8L engine. The boat is a 42ft narrow boat, with ample interior storage. It has been used a permanent live-aboard for 5 years. The boat is in excellent condition throughout, with recent work as listed below : - Recently blacked - New anodes - New batteries - New flexible solar panel - New water pumps - New electrics - Stern gear disassembled, inspected and professionally reassembled - Engine thoroughly serviced, with all fluids and filters replaced - 2 new automatic bilge pumps fitted - Wood burning stove has been stripped and refurbished with new ropes and fire bricks - Stove chimney has been swept - All exterior wood has been replaced (hand rails and storage container tops using reclaimed teak) - Much interior refurbishment work, using high quality materials The boat has recently been surveyed, showing that the hull is in great condition. All of the recommendations in the survey have been carried out according to best practice. It also has a 'boat safety' certificate valid until December 2019.
