Hades is a 40 feet Harborough Marine cruiser stern, all steel narrowboat. His interior, is dark and solid. Comfort and socialising is the theme here, with the kitchen, lounge and dining area covering most of the space. The shower and toilet doors close across to create a non cramped feel. The bedroom is self contained with two bunks, plenty of storage and a sink. Attention to materials has been given throughout from the solid oak flooring to the black leather settee and stainless steel shower tray.Hades has the classic large cruiser stern type, so popular for entertaining on. From the stern we immediately enter the two bunk bedroom. This is a well preserved and untouched 1980s 'retro' bunk bedroom. It's one of the reasons we bought Hades and have not altered it (except to take out the old gas boiler in order to create a large storage area). Moving on the shower/toilet area is of the type that the central doors close, creating a spacious feeling room. This area has been completely tiled except for the oak floor and includes a stainless steel shower tray.
After the shower room we move into the kitchen/galley with dark oak cabinets, full size gas oven and grill, separate four ring hob, brand new 12v fridge, stainless steel sink, black work top. The salon/lounge includes a full size two seater black leather settee, a wood burning stove and 12v TV. The front cratch area is surrounded with seats and this has a four person table within.
Hades is floored throughout in solid oak.The sale includes all fixtures and fittings, new bedding and works of Art if wanted.Hades is currently at Wigrams Turn Marina. The junction of the Oxford and Grand Union canals.
