norman 23ft cabin cruiser, narrowbeam.i will add a few more pics and details in the coming days.serious enquiries only please as time is an issue for me for viewings, you can call or text me for a call back and a chat and info.07954603278the boat is being craned out of the water this week, and land stored at buscot, river thames near lechlade, fees have been payed including storage until next march and craning back in the water.this will give buyer time to do any jobs on it with relative ease and take it to your own mooring either by river or trailered away up til march.picture shows it being craned out 18 months ago so i could antifoul and paint hull and do some jobs.it has got just over 3 years safety certificate.honda 3 cylinder diesel gd1100 inboard engine.this is the issue i have, with sterndrive.it has a sillette sterndrive, which is a 2 cog forward,& reverse.one of the cogs is clunking and probably a tooth worn, boat still drives but this needs doing.it can be quite easily worked on by a reasonably competent mechanical person,it unbolts off the boat quite easy to take away, and its a very basic set up and can be stripped down easy enough, with all parts available new,and i have a spare sterndrive with top cover off showing the basic working of it,possibly good for spare cogs and other bits .i had a hex nut snap on the dog clutch a couple of years ago, i stripped that part and rebuilt it myself,im saying this as its not a to complex mechanical item, its a basic 2 cog on a drive shaft, shifted into gear by a dog clutch, which can be seen by taking off the top cover held by 6 bolts.i have pictures i can send via email when i get them off old phone.ok details about the boat.double v birth at front, single bed or dinette,or this folds out into small double, matching blue chord cushions, and blue lined curtains.toilet compartment, inc a shower (if your a child size). galley with 2 ring cooker grill oven, fridge.under the engine bay there is a small immersion tank, which heats up the water when engines running to give you stored running hot water to the sink and shower.the pump hoses need connecting back up as i took filter off to clean and drained water out.plenty of storage all round.i think this is a real nice comfortable cosy little boat, and spent 3 or 4 nights on it at a time.i replaced the boat hood with a vinyl canvas one.i have put a new single morse throttle arm (£120) on it,this needs mounting properly when sterndrive is being done, brand new gear cable (£30).replaced both leisure and starter battery a few months ago, done painting, new carpet etc.solar panel trickle charger.good oppotunity to set yourself up for next season.feel free to call or send me a text for a call back for more info.thanks for looking
