Springer Water Bug narrow boat. Very sweet 20ft, ideal as a project/hobby/messing around on the water. Selling as I have other commitments now which take up my time and energy, and I no longer need to live on her. Hull was sound when I bought the boat and she has been out the water since then as I was living/working on her. The hull had already been over plated when I bought her and I have given her two coats of blacking. She didn't take on any water when I bought her. She doesn't take on water now except through the screws of the hatch which needs improving. Selling as a nearly finished project. Most of superstructure primed and painted in a top coat, windows resealed. One of the back doors needs better aligning, one 'arm' of the safety bar around engine needs to be wielded back on straight. She is stored in Shepperton, Surrey, and the storage can be transferred to new owner or you can move boat to another location at your own cost. Engine 4 stroke 9.9 Honda outboard, condition unknown as I have never started it, and wouldn't know how. She has a low canopy to cover the back deck. All Interior was Red Oxided, most of interior insulated, new 12v cables run through. Self-made kitchen unit and bed. Fit-out half done - easy to strip plywood out or to finish. Wall mounted radiator, 50m shoreline cable, 12v/240v cool box fridge, new sink, angle grinder, mouse sander, electric drill, plywood sheets, toolboxes of odd and ends, set of 4 new anodes. (The photos show two anodes but there are four; they are taped back to back.) Viewings welcome but no time wasters please. If you would like to view the boat, please do it during the auction. Thanks.
