We are selling our 1/24th (2 week) share of 58' trad. narrowboat 'Waterlily ' - after 4 great years of cruising we have decided to buy a campervan for a change. Waterlily is a managed syndicate boat, the yearly maintenance fees are around £400 for each week owned ie £800 for 2 week share. The shares we own are one Yellow (Spring/Autumn) and one Winter (Nov - Feb).  The dates are picked on a rotational basis. For 2017 our yellow week begins 2nd September and blue week is provisionally 31st Dec (2016) - New Year 2017.  If you are able to make plans last minute there is often a chance to pick up additional weeks at no additional cost, where other owners have been unable to use their weeks. This is often during Winter months which is our favorite time for cruising, as canals are quiet, plenty of moorings and the boat is lovely and cosy with log burner....and a nip sloe gin to keep us going!    Waterlily is currently based at Kings Lock, Middlewich, Cheshire which has a great range of cruising choices from this base.
