Helena is a 4 berth, 21-foot bilge keel yacht with a 2 foot 8-inch draft. She is ideal for novices or experienced sailors and is the perfect low-cost way of getting afloat and enjoying all the wonderful things sailing has to offer. We have had many days of blissful sailing with her.She is currently ashore for the winter and is located by the river Dart. For viewings and questions and more pictures please contact me. She has all the equipment needed to get going straight away. If you would like to keep her on the Dart her current mooring is available at £500 for 12 months. River dues for the Dart were £60. The river Dart Is a wonderful place to have as your home port. Helena equipment list.· The engine is a Yanmar Gem 1, 10hp inboard diesel engine new in 2007. It has been serviced regularly every 20-30 hours since 2010. The 25L fuel tank is full and consumption is normally approximately 2 liters per hour. The engine is currently winter ready with fresh water and anti-freeze. The boat was not sailed 2008-2009 seasons before I bought her, so the engine is low hours and in very good working order.Auto bilge pump.Mail sail is battened with navy blue sail cover. Main Halyard new 2014. Sail Marked as WK121135% genoa headsail with UV strip, Furling system. Both sails New in 2015 hardly used.2 original winchesAll covers, cushions, curtains and headlining new for 2010.Matching spray dodgers.Jabsco sea toilet new fitted 2011 recently serviced.VHF Marine RadioGarmin Fish Finder Depth sounder.2 batteries one new in 2012New Master Switch 20132 ring gas cooker and grillSink and stainless basin with fresh water tank.4 Fenders 21 x 60.2 Mooring warps, 1 mooring line with steel eye, 1 mooring chain with ring.Anchor and chain.Cool BoxCoastal Flarepack in date.Life belt and Safety light.2 clip on safety straps.Stainless steel Boarding Ladder.Folding wooden tillerBoat hook. Helena has been in the water since March of 2016 she is therefore in need of her normal maintenance, painting, polishing, and anti-fouling. She is currently due to be re-launched at the end of March. Purchaser is free to make their own arrangements for storage or relaunch. You will need to arrange insurance which is currently approximately £160 per year, via the westerly owners association.
