Freedom1 / Osprey 1 hovercraft hull component kit.I bought this hovercraft hull kit about two and a half years ago. I was initially going to either take a mould from it or build it in to a usable hovercraft for my wife & I to use out on the loch near where I live. So far in the two and a half years I haven't touched it and my other interests and projects have and are consuming my time, so time to sell on.From what I can gather this hull was built by Norfolk Hovercraft back in 2010. By the looks of it the hull was started but never finished as there are no holes drilled where the skirt rail would fit and no holes drilled for the engine / thrust frame.Besides what can be seen in the pictures I have the rudders, stators & centre cone. The engine cone has some filler in it so would need to be painted.An engine around 25 horse power would be ideal, unless you wanted to race then a Rotax 503 would make this thing go like a rocket.There are a few scratches & gelcoat chips on the hull but nothing that would affect it structurally.There is no engine, skirt or fan.There is also no trailer with this hull.I would prefer buyer to collect, and at least come and view before buying to ensure your happy with it. I could possibly deliver for the cost of the fuel, but I would want the money for the hull and fuel up front.The hull is in the Highlands of Scotland in Lochcarron near the Isle of Skye.Maybe willing to swap for (cash either way) steam engine, or something interesting sticking to ebay rules.
