Cushions in cabin are good as well as the fabric covering, one can use a new backer board. Masonite can be used. Vessel was serviced by Anchor Marine of Erie, Pa. beginning of September and was dropped in water and not used since. Vessel is now out of marina and at my home. I did not get to use this boat this season. The previous owner, which I know, had it for many years and used it in Lake Erie for fishing and fun. He stated that the boat has no problem and he totally trusted it to go to Canada and back. Fuel Mileage is excellent and the trailer was phenomenal. Can drive it at 70 on highway in a straight line no problem. He actually also had Anchor Marine of Erie, Pa go over the boat and give it a good, safe rating as well.
WHAT IS NEEDED:I have had the engine running, so I do know the engine runs. Anchor Marine did just change oil and go over everything. Could use a tune-up I would imagine, new wires, plugs, etc. Just usual stuff. Like I said I had it running so I know the engine runs good and strong. (it runs good so not needed)It could probably use a thermostat or possibly impellers (not expensive at all). It was running a bit hot when I took it across lake. It could even need a propeller which those are about $80 for a good one. There are no cabin doors but there is curtains there. The old owner removed them as they got in the way and made it harder to get in/out cabin. Unfortunately he left them outside and forgot about them. (not needed)The antenna needs to be mounted. It is a replacement and I know it works as I have heard the radio work. (minor)The wood on the the top of the deck of back of boat (approx 6in x the width of boat) could use a light sanding and stain/urethane. (minor)The trailer could use some light sanding and paint in some areas. (very minor)I REALLY LIKE THIS BOAT but I recently got divorced and with taking care of house, my business, my two dogs and so much more, I found I just don't have the time to even go out on a boat. Even my Harley is probably getting sold because I rode less than 300 miles this season and in fact I have put less than 1000 miles on it since January 2014. My loss is your gain in this case. Should you have any questions or concerns, please message me without hesitation.
