Hello and welcome to my auction for 'Sea Daisy' she is a 1974, 32 foot Dutch built, Steel (6mm), long keel, sloop rigged ocean going boat. I have been living aboard her for the best part of 2 years now whilst I have been working on her to get her back to ship shape. There is still a little work to do on her, which means she is a great little winter project. within a few weekends, she could be ready for the new season next year. I am selling her as a live aboard but, make no mistake, she is still a fine blue water cruiser. She is located in Eastbourne marina which has fantastic facilities and a wonderful yacht club. It costs £307 per month to moor her there. She was surveyed in 2012 with no major defects or structure problems. She is very sound all round.Yes I know it's the wrong time of year to sell a boat! I am only selling her as my new job takes me away for long periods and I just don't get the time on her. I will be very sad to see her go as she is a very happy space. Here's what I've done to her so far:Brand new extended Galley.Brand new 3 ring and grill Gas Cooker.Brand new Gas Lines.Brand new Fridge (small freezer big enough for fish fingers).Brand new Propex Gas Heater with Thermostat.Brand new Carbon Monoxide Detector.Brand new Curtains.Brand new Hardwood Hatches all round.Brand new Shore Power.Brand new Battery Charger.Brand new Leisure Batteries (2) giving 180 hours.Brand new 240v Ring Main with 8 sockets.Brand new Running Rigging all round. The electrics have been upgraded and replaced where necessary, so everything works as it should. There is a Galvanic Isolator fitted so you don't have to worry about anodes. There is a Rutland 503 Wind Generator fitted, but not connected and a 10 amp Solar Panel, not fitted.I have replaced the waste water system which is easy to empty instead of running into the bilges and being pumped overboard. The water tank 220Lt was completely drained and cleaned last year.LOA 32'Beam 9'6"Draught 5"6"Displacement 9000KgHeadroom 6'Engine 20Hp BukhShaft DriveTiller Steering3 Blade bronze Prop.100Lt Fuel TankThis is what she comes with:6' Inflatable Dingy which is 2 years old with a 3.5 Horsepower Outboard, I don't know how old the outboard is but it has been serviced and works a treat, if a little too powerful for the dingy.3 Berths. 1 Forward double V berth and 1 single in the cabin.Head (Sea Toilet) I don't use it but it works.CompassSpeed/Depth LogVHF and 1 hand held VHF. The seized engine is worth around £700 on the market. The new engine is stored in the boat shed under cover. It is a direct replacement so is relatively easy to replace. I just haven't had the time and my priority was to get her into a position where I could live aboard her first. The top sides could do with a re-paint but again this is just cosmetic work which was down the list of my priorities. The hull paint is in great condition and doesn't need doing.I think that's about all I can say about my lovely ship. I have been as honest as I can, there is probably things I have missed so please come and have a look at her, she really is a fine ship, with not a lot of work to finish her for next season. I really have enjoyed owning her and am truly sorry she has to go.I look forward to showing you around, Happy Bidding.........
